You are correct the upgraded screen simply is not needed if you already have a Switch (a few tweaks you will have the same thing)

Etika would've loved the newer smash characters and the OLED, I have been wanting it but at the same time I can't justify purchasing it. I do want a more powerful switch with 4k features and maybe a 1440p screen for portable mode, otherwise I'm fine with my second gen model
