GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa , I was wondering what month you went, because you’re wearing a jacket in the video. We just got back from Japan. We went to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Ōsaka. We absolutely loved Japan!!! The only negative was it was hard finding good vegetarian food sometimes. I’m loving your channel and videos! ❤️❤️❤️
@grrrltraveler5 жыл бұрын
Cherry blossom season! 😃 I posted a couple vids earlier when I got back. Sadly Japan is still largely seafood based- not a country where veg diets are popular. For veg folks I highly recommend food tours to initiate you to the culture.

@@curatedconnection6334 For Tokyo the Suica card is really helpful and a lot of the major attractions are close to one line with shibuya, shinjuku and harajuku all being on the same line. The guards are super helpful but some of the stations are Huge!……sore feet are incoming

There seems to be a lot more English on the restaurant signage in Osaka than Tok/Yok...🤔 As for the long lines, that may just mean the place is popular (because it was recently featured on TV, in a magazine, or perhaps some popular idol visited there.) However, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is the best place for that particular food. My general rule of thumb is to find the most grungy, rundown, off-the-beaten-path shop with a single old dude cooking there for decades 😉
