Emiel - I have a question... and please forgive my ignorance because I am new to photogrammetry. How would you do 'stereo' photogrammetry? for viewing inside Quest 3 or AVP for instance. Do the same principles apply? and could I use my existing Insta360 Pro2 or Titan to capture the images in stereo like I do now?(Over/Under) Or is that a different kind of camera that uses lidar tracking or something. I love high-fidelity photogrammetry.... just would like to add stereo disparity to the real world captures. Thanks in advance!

Hey Mark. Hmm that is a difficult one because i do not have experience with most of the equipment you just mentioned haha. in general the concept of stereo is about changing lighting angles. We make the images from above because we want a flat texture but the most important thing is to have static images and the lighting change at exact angles so you can then convert it into 3D information

Face and character is a whole different type of photogrammetry and can be a course of it's own. however you often need specialized gear to get it to AAA quality which we do not have. and would be so expensive that it would not be worth it for a course

Face and character scanning is expensive. And obviously you want to learn the production level scanning and that needs really deep knowledge not only in 3d but technical knowledge of lenses, camera , lighting. What not. So, you can better start with this.
