I will add I did encounter a problem with the fit of the headlights to the body. I called Madjax and they told me there is a center support for the front body panel. And to check it because they can get bent durring a front end bump. I looked and it was , so I straightened it out and the fit was perfect.

ALSO the spring for the brake switch has a big loop on the end that hooks onto the pin. So I squeezed it closed and when I put it on I installed a washer on each side of the spring loop and put a zip tie on the pin on the outside of the washers. This keeps the spring from comming off which happened to me, so I had no brake lights.

Guys remember all the drive 2 bodies if you take them off has the outline for the head lights and taillights engraved into the plastic and it's a lot easier to ensure a nice straight good looking mounting hole for the head lights and taillights I always outline the pattern with a sharpie and cut to the outside of the line removing the sharpie outline completely and that will ensure they will slide in with no problems and having to keep trimming till they fit right. I work at a golf cart dealership and we never use those paper templates.

The only thing I would change is the USB location. It’s going to fill with dirt and water! I would’ve mounted it vertically in the same spot.

Is there a way to wire this through the carts key switch so the brakes do not stay on when parked and not in use?

The breaks are on a timer it will turn off after 5 mins or so on their own

It has a turn signal stalk but do the headlights/ taillights have functioning turn signals built in? Stupid question but just want to make sure before ordering.

Is there any way to adjust the aim of the headlights? Mine aim way up almost to the point that they're useless. The only way I see to adjust this would be to shim out the top portion of the whole light assembly which would just look ridiculous.

On stock headlights, look at the back of the headlight assembly. At the bottom of the round part there is a philips screw which is the adjustment screw.

Is there a way to run the converter to the key switch that way it’s not draining the battery when not in use?

@Madjaxtv I'm wondering the same. Did you find a way to make it work?

Lots of videos how to install a kit but no videos on how to replace a light bulb on a stock cart. Do you have to remove the body or be a contortionist?

Do you have any videos or pictures of how the rgb versions of these lights look installed?
@MadjaxTV3 жыл бұрын
Davis, I will try to find you a picture of the RGB Yamaha Drive with them on. Basically the RGB portion is where the daytime light lens (shown in this video) is that runs full length along the top side of the head light lens.

Is the wiring harness long enough for Yamaha’s Concierge 4 model?
@MadjaxTV3 жыл бұрын
@Gary M it is not, only designed for standard length carts. It's possible to make it fit but it would void your warranty, the Tail light wires and power wires would need to be extended. Everything at the front of the cart would stay the same.

You guys need to remake this video. It's 2 years old and the wire harness has changed, along with some of the other connectors. The routing of the harness was done very poorly. Why run the entire harness thru the floorboard when you can just push the 2' of that end thru to the front then run the rest to the eng.compartment. Show the locations of the openings to use for this. I had to watch this video numerous times to determine where they were. Also my harness has extra wires for optional accessories, which is not mentioned in the instuctions. This is my first cart so all this is new to me.
