that is one heck of an interior layout, and Dang, that kitchen!! looks like u could even have more then one person working in there at the same time. I know my wife would love that oven, as well as the 4 gas burners, sometimes I think she can't cook a meal without the whole stovetop being full

Why in the world can't more RV builders use a layout/floor plan like this is beyond me. We have shopping for 2 years....and still cannot find a floor plan that has everything I want..... except for this one.

Tori Williams Most fifth wheel/travel trailers don't exceed 40-45 ft in length...this one is 48 ft, so this floor plan has between 3 to 8 more feet to pack more things into.

You bring up a good point - that everyone has their own unique needs and wishes. Only with a custom manufacturer like Spacecraft Mfg or New Horizons RV can you get your floorplan, colors, appliances, and systems exactly the way you want. I agree - when looking at the mass-produced rigs, I always have something I would want to change! Thanks for your continued views of our videos, and great comments.

Also if money is no issue, they can build it. Finding that right RV, that checks off many of your boxes might take you some time. On a lower budget hunt, we looked for 18 months before we found a RV trailer that hit many of the things we were looking for. Since we do a lot of our RVing in state and national parks, I wanted to stay under 30', preferably in the 26' to 28' range, 60-80 gallon fresh and a higher build quality than what is made in Indiana built units. Wasn't until we were returning from Alaska ( summer of 16') to shopped at Arctic Fox and it's sister company Outdoors RV in MT. and WY. and found the quality I wanted and the floorplan my wife said "This is the one". In the end it was about $10-$15k more than a IN. built unit. Ended up with a Timber Ridge 24RKS. Ended up driving 4500 miles to purchase one in OR., as they don't sell them back east.

Terrific review Gregg. I have only come across your channel recently as my better half is from the US and our trip of a lifetime is to spend a couple years rv'ing around the country. It doesn’t look like it is 48 1/2. I have seen smaller rigs that look just as big. I love the layout. The kitchen is exactly what I want. I don’t like booths, but it is nice that the table is removable. I like the layout in the living room. So often people who own these types of RVs tend to have too big and much furniture. I can’t stand the ones who have two couches and a chair and the kitchen booth all in a row. This couple did a fantastic job on designing their RV. Good luck in your endeavors.

For me personally I like the focal point to be the bedroom and the bathroom like RV Coach buses have taking up half of the Coach. I would rather have a living room and kitchen combo! If I’m entertaining guests that’s going to be outside with TVs.

What an amazing and beautiful trailer! I do totally agree with Tori Williams, the RV manufacturers spend so much time building the luxury RV's, and from what I have seen they are nothing special. The layout in some is horrible and they still call them Luxury? If you ask me, they should really listen more to people just like this couple. I am just saying because there is getting to be more and more people who actually LIVE full time in their RV. One thing you never see is, any of these RV outfits accommodating for pets!

I'd have made it a shower/tub combo, though with just as nice finishes. So, either put a small wash basin in the WC, or put in one of those toilets with a wash basin built into the upper part of the tank. I know the Japanese use those for compartmentalised bathrooms in one bathroom apartments shared by families. Also, is there a dishwasher in the kitchen?

Love that they have a washer/dryer...but why doesn't GE or Whirlpool, etc. companies make the nozzles & buttons on the lower portion of the dryer?!?! You have to be pretty tall to read the buttons, etc...just saying...I also think window companies need to start making bathroom windows that open from the top down, so when they take showers or use the bathroom...no one can see you, maybe the top of your head but nothing else!

Because Steve has a Class 8 Volvo tractor that, over a decade ago, was set up to do "bumper" pull for his previous travel trailer. Listen to Part 2 and you'll hear a more detailed explanation.

I've seen it and loved it then I visited the website to see their pricing. I saw over $300,000 on one of their units and immediately hated it. It's a great one but after all it's just a trailer...

Yet, despite how much they spent on this beautiful unit, they don't have a wood vent cover in the kitchen. When he showed the kitchen it was the first thing I saw. That giant bright white vent cover. The least Spacecraft could have done was paint it to match the color of the cabinets. I can't believe nobody at SpaceCraft didn't notice this. They are perfectionist when it comes to the fit and finish. Spacecraft makes some of the most beautiful and expensive units, yet they still use that ugly high gloss ceiling. AC ducting for RVs are now readily available. So there is no need to use this style ceiling. They need to create the same mold they use on the roof for the interior ceiling. This new ceiling should be covered with soft touch vinyl. This reduces noise levels inside, reduces the rain noise, and provides a small bit of insulation. While we're on needing new fiberglass molds, let's redesign the front and rear caps. Many of us younger buyers want to see the same cutting edge designs we're seeing on luxury coaches. These caps are from the 90's. Everything else have been updated and upgraded since then. Let's complete the updates with all new fiberglass. New fiberglass would put Spacecraft back in the running with today's most stylish custom units!

I would think that because he has a 3 axle truck he is no longer restricted to the normal RV length restrictions. He would however, have to have a Class 1A driver's licence.
