As a long time Skyrim modder of course as soon as I figuered out how I have been using mods and would like to see different ones in action. I'm currently using mostly aesthetic mods and some QOL and would love to see what I can add. And sorry to all the console players but having followed you since the game oficially released you have done more than your fair share of vanilla builds for folks to try.

A conquest paladin build sounds baller. I'd really like to know more ways to cause and play around the fear/frightened conditions, since I struggle with causing them in both tabletop and BG3

Dude. There's some great Conquest gear in the game. Get the Braindrain gloves for mental save debuffs. (gith weapons deal psychic damage and so do many illithid powers). Shield of the Undevout so enemies have Disadvantage on frighten. Bonespike helmet = menacing attack each turn. Thats a just a few items for it. Its fun. You just keep fearing everything.

Been using a planner to remake a party of Sith for my Dark Urge playthrough. I was going to do rule of two, and have one sith warrior or sith assassin, and a sith inquisi lightning sorc. I think this is going to be THE main one of my party, this build is so fun. LOVE Eldritch Knight and Wizard, so good, love this video.

for a sith lord i feel like a 8 paladin 4 warlock would work much better. you would get eldritch blast that would be your force push. you could get spell sniper thornwhip that would be your force pull you could focus on charisma, which would work for siths better since their strength comes from the "force" which is basically an eldritch entity, and best of all, it also means you can use pact of the blade, to have a charisma "bound weapon" that you can throw and will come back. finally, 8/4 gives you 3 feats. meaning, you can, max charisma at 20. get alert, so no need to get much dex, use heavy armor(darth vader style), and grab any other feat you want, like warcaster for that shocking grasp reaction or spell sniper. for race, you could be anything, for melee, half orcs give savage attacker, while strongheart halfling's lucky fits perfectly with the jedi/sith "manipulating the odds" with the force. finally another way to look at it is as a monk 8(open hand)/thief 3/barbarian 1. rage is a literal ability of the sith. so to have a sith that doesnt rage kinda feels like its missing something. you could swap open hand monk for four elements, but i feel like a more vader style, instead of a palpy lightning storm.

Love the build ! Definitely recommend modding because it adds so much replayability. Just a small note, Eldritch Knight has always displayed incorrectly in the level up screen and spell book. But in the combat log it shows properly using INT. There’s also a mod that fixes that bug from the vanilla game

If you do not use mods in this game ... you are not play a DnD game on any level! After 500 hours ... there is absolutely no way to play a paladin properly here! No dialog for a Lawful good char. Infact this game will go out of its way to break what ever oath you give! With mods you can play a paladin that won't do this! 22 race, 83 subclasses missing from game in vanilla version!

In case he doesn't, there are some really good guides and most mods are very easy to use. The big thing you'd use is BG3 Mod Manager as most authors create mods for it and it comes with script extender which a lot of mods also use. Most can just be downloaded and imported through the manager but there are some that will have you find a few folders in the game location.

Maybe this is TOO much to ask, but I think a video where you go through an entire party composition like this. I feel like the meta for this game is single builds, honor mode builds, or honor mode solo runs. However, I think a big source of fun from this game is bringing your companions with your main character, and synergizing their abilities as they all work through their own stories. Also, not EVERYBODY could use the Boots of Free Movement or Crusher's ring. So building a party of 4, each with their own gear, gives you a lot of other things to analyze and consider. It might be long (maybe make a series), and probably harder than most of your single builds, but I think you could make it fun.

It’s important to note: if you decide to choose Half Orc for the extra crit damage and the ability to not immediately get knocked out, if you find a way to pick up the “Disguise Self” spell, you can turn yourself into a Gith and still net the benefits of the Gith-specific items/ prerequisites while also maintaining your Half Orc racial benefits! Only thing to keep in mind is you won’t be able to look how you wanna look😁

well if you have disguise skill, you can disguise accordingly to the requirements of the race and still get that bonus.

Note to viewers: Arcane acuity does not add to damage but to attack rolls and spell save DC. Even if you get 10 charges, your damage will be the same. Gloves of battlemage's power doesn't work Elemental augmentation is what adds damage Arcane synergy is what adds damage from the acuity charges. Without it, your charges will not add any damage to your weapon attacks

Magic initiate: Bard probably won’t be much use unless you rearrange your stats. It uses CHA for the spellcasting ability, and 12 CHA is going to result in a lot of successful enemy saving throws (unless you really want to use your divination dice)

I'd be very interested in modded builds, so long as they involve classes/subclasses/feats/spells from the tabletop game itself so as to recreate characters people might actually play in DnD! A shadar-kai conquest paladin/bladesinger wizard multiclass with the telekinetic feat and blade cantrips? Absolutely.

I really like your videos. But there's one thing you might want to rethink. BG3 is a game with a huge amount of options and players can really get lost sometimes. So going "you can do this or you can do that or you can do basically everything it doesn't mater do whatever you feel like" isn't really why people look up a build guide. Even if it's true that most things are viable or playable in a lower difficulty setting, a bit more decisiveness would be more helpful.

my one issue is that, this build looks like it has too small AC for a close range fighter. in something like honor mode, it feels like if you get unlucky, you will go down before being able to really do anything. even with mirror image, its good, but temporary. so against some heavy hitter, it doesnt seem like it has enough protection to handle.

You have sooo many ways to stop attacks via portent dice, defensive duelist, shield. Honestly honor mode is not that hard where people say you need 20+ AC characters. I did honor mode with the highest AC on any of my characters being 19 or so

paladin (broken oath) \ sorcerer is a better sith lord, simply because charisma is so powerful for both classes. I start sorcerer and take paladin later on.
