@@gordonyip8865 i play both without cheats and HvH with vac banned cheats so i can only play on non protected servers, and there are 3 people, the autosniper people, low penetration so they usually die but great to counter rushes, the scout people, as you said, and the toxic HvHer, which uses AWP great penetration so he is a slightly better awp

The awp... no need to add any comments. The Autosnipers are just way too expensive, however, on CT side, the Auto can be better than the AWP. It's literally an automatic scout and can put down an entire 5 man rush which the AWP can't do unless the enemy teams have 0 utility or have no primary weapons (or are just bad). On T side, where you need to push, and not to mention the fact that the G3 has terrible reload time and is overall slightly worse than the SCAR, means it's just not worth it, not to mention that dropping an auto sniper to a CT is a huge bonus, even better than an AWP. On T side you have to pre fire common CT angles, and with the awp which is a 1 tap to the body, the job is just much easier and also cheaper. The scout is amazing on it's own way mainly because of the movement speed while scoped, the 2 shot/1 headshot at any range potential and it's ridiculous price of 1700$. IMO it's one of the things in this game that needs to be propperly adjusted. The scout is way too strong for 1700$. 1900-2000$ should be the minimum. It's not game braking but it's way too much of an exploit, when I see teams CONSTANTLY buying a scout on the 2nd round even without a bomb plant or winning the round at all, it's just not fair or good design.

Some background for the younger generations, in 1.6 and Source, Auto snipers were pretty much banned on every server. Should you manage to find a server that allowed you to use one you would be rightly derided as being a noob with no skill. It worries me that this stigma seems to be lost today. Please always remember, if you need to use an Auto rifle go and play CoD. CSGO is not for you.

@@ksweew7476 back in the day people played on 64 man servers, if multiple people had auto rifles on maps like dust, assault and aztec which were amongst the most popular at the time, it ruined the game. Maps weren’t as balanced as they are now. It was an issue but besides that you are missing the of arching point. It’s not that it’s hard to kill some using an auto, it’s that it takes no skill to use an auto.

Here's an opinion regarding auto snipers - Remove the scopes and give them cross hairs - - Leave the DPS and penitration as it is (or make it a 3 to the body idk) - Reduce the price to approx 2500-3500(depending on the effectiveness) - - Add some cool skins And here folks we got some cool and effective semi-auto rifles (Open to discuss) (If agree please spread it until it reaches valve)

It always boils down to individual preference. I am more comfortable using an auto sniper and put it to great effect in comps. Sure using an auto sniper is risky if you don't know how to handle it properly as losing it will cost you a lot but I find it very handy to break down a T rush.

Why not? It might not be fun for a secton of players like you but it might be otherwise for the people who use it. The game should be free for all to play the way they want to play it. There shouldn't be any restrictions in choosing the desired weapon or playing styles until it works for the player and the team.
