Is BBQ expensive down there? I'm from the Northeast and the brisket we can find is usually $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It depends on the location you visit and the type of cut you want. Moist brisket is a bit pricey compared to other sections of the Brisket. Some locations just have one standard price.

@@RandomRecess Lockhart is my hometown Chisholm was my favorite for sausage when Floyd owned it before he past. The quality is not what is use to be. If you have not tried go to luling Tx to City Market they have great BBQ as well.

Thats not entirely accurate. The son BOUGHT the business from the dad. The daughter inherited the building and raised the rent so high, the son took HIS business down the road to a building they built.
