We were unaware of how incredible the food was on the island as well. Such variety and rich flavours, many dishes quite different than the rest of Thailand. I think those small green fruit you thought looked like kalamansi might be green figs. I’ve never seen figs served with the leaves and veg in Thailand but I haven’t been everywhere. Love the channel!

Each province around Thailand has a lot of street food and food stores waiting for you guys to try and they are cheap but good quality. Each province has unique charming places and food. And they are tasty also many places are changing even they are not in the tourist attraction ones because there are over 70 provinces in Thailand. Welcome to visit the whole country. We are the land of smile and we are friendly to the others. This habit is our root. We have had our family teaching since we were young " who come to visit us, we must make them happy while they are my guests until they leave." I am following this teaching, too. And almost Thai people are doing the same.

Wow, is the khanom jeen available at lunch time too? And with the plates these big, how did the two of you manage to sit on the same table? In a real world scenario would a family of 4 eat 4 of these together?

Yes the khanom keen is available for lunch as well😉 in terms of the massive plates, everything on them are side dishes of fresh and preserved vegetables to add into your curry, so they aren't there to eat the whole thing. For every table the two massive plates are given, regardless of how many people, and then you can choose which you would like to add in and how much you would like. I think they used duck egg for the Thai Roti and first time seeing a curry dish with peanut. I'm definitely craving for those pork belly. Kanom Jeen similar to Laksa. All the spreads like Korean side dishes settings. Those 4 pieces of fish cakes would considered appetizer. The fresh popiah is more like vietnamese and the deep fried is more like singaporean. Tom Khu Gai is hot & sour soup made with coconut milk. Could add some vermicelli-rice noodles with it. Best homemade dessert of Durian Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk. O-Tao is like Taro Cake & Oyster Omelette Pancake Batter mixed altogether. Phuket Street Food is pretty much bring back some of its delicious meals from Malaysia.

That pork belly was something else! We really enjoyed the durian sticky rice, so pungent and ripe, such a treat to try. Yes, there's quite a few similarities between Phuket cuisine and Malaysian, all the food here is just so delicious you can't go wrong. Thanks for your comment and for watching😊

I would recommend you to try it at Notto Yum Pak Ban. This restaurant is located in Chanthaburi province. It is a famous restaurant and the food is very spicy. I'm Thai, but I haven't had a chance to eat there yet. But I really want to eat.

I'm Thai and I would like to recommend "ตลาดท่าเรือพลี"(I don't know how to type in English, sorry) It's a street made into a market that has good quality seafood, lots of street food and cool sea breeze, but you can come only on Saturday. Only (the seafood there is delicious, especially the crab)

In Thailand, you can say the suffix “KA” for women and “KRAB” for men to be more polite. For example, thank you “KOB KUN KA/ KRAB” and the word is A-Roi-Mak. Can be repeated as A-Roi-Mak-Mak KA/ KRAB as well will be very good. 😁😊

Thai food in foreign countries will be adjusted to match the culture of foreign countries or the perception of taste of people in foreign countries. But if you want the taste of authentic Thainess, you have to come back to Thailand again, we are waiting for you.
