I grew up in the 1970’s, so I’m pretty sure you have two ‘Laura Ingalls’ dresses. These dresses were cottage core before cottage core existed 😂. I love them, though they do scream for minor updates, maybe to the sleeves.

As a young lady who lived through the 70s, I can say THOSE PANTS! Envision wearing them to an Emmy Lou and Graham concert. As to the dress with bonnet, I had red one with bonnet made by my grandmother in 1976 for the Bicentennial celebration. Even my grandmother made herself one.

I love the "bonnet dress"! Honestly, I'd wear it as-is. And the gingham one too :) You are able to pull off so many funky styles I would have no idea what to do with much less have the guts to wear. I think the nightie dress would look best as a blouse, even cut off into a mini dress, it would kinda still look like a nightie.

Wow, you found a letterman jacket, with all the fringe pens. That is totally a great find. My favorite is the quilted pants and they fit you so well and what workmanship done on the quilting. It has to be worth a small fortune. The button up patchwork dress can be used over pants/skirts and not be button all the way down but stop at waist. It could also just be left open for a coverup. On the mint green gown, I think it should be crop and elastic add at the waist for a 2pc skirt set. siempre verano (always summer) but not here in Missouri.lol Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

So many great items! My favorite was easily that 2nd to last item, the patchwork dress. I love the colored squares. So much fun! I also love the idea of making those other dresses into short dresses. For the dress I think you should turn it into a mini cause you could tuck it in and wear it as a top but if you crop it as a top you won't have the dress option haha and the cottagecore dress is my fav!! 🥰

Great vintage thrifting! Loving the patchwork everything, but my favorite is definitely the quilted pants! I think the patchwork dress looks great with the pink top, and it really looks great on you! Everything fits you so perfectly and the cheer jacket is so much fun! If you go to a tailor or a dry cleaning store that has a tailor in it, they often have a drawer full of random buttons so you can see if they have one that will go with the dress. They just charge like two or three bucks to sew a button

oh man I would not alter that nightgown at 15:40 it's such a great vintage piece intact as is. it breaks my heart sometimes to see originals get altered! I'd say if you see yourself keeping it for many years and just need to alter it to be perfect for you, then alter away. But if you don't see yourself keeping the item in the long haul, don't alter it because someone else might wish it was in original condition! fwiw i think you look great in the long maxi dresses, they dont look costumey at all to me! prarie dresses have been super trendy, people are looking for long dresses like that :)
