This really fits much more my idea of what a traditional tiramisu is supposed to be like, made with a sponge cake and not with those la reine sticks that keep popping up in every other tiramisu video. Thanks a bunch, Emma! Your recipe works like a charm.

There's this pastry shop in my city that makes the best tiramisu. I wanted to make it at home and both my mom and I kept searching for recipes online, but nothing came even close. And then I found this. It turned out pretty much the same as they make it and it was so so delicious! Seriously, best tiramisu recipe ever. Thank you for this recipe! I made this today and it was one of the most delicious cakes I've ever made, the sponge was light and fluffy, the cream melted in my mouth, and the hints of coffee and chocolate blended so well together, it was amazing! Thank you for sharing this beautiful cake, definitely making again, I also added a few fresh strawberries which arent really traditional but tasted really nice. 😁

I just made this cake , turned out great ! The sponge was light, spongy and soft. I used cream cheese instead of mascarpone still tasted amazing. Would highly reccomend making this cake .

In the process of making it now and.... Thank you for taking the time to film and share your recipe, as this was my 1st time making this. #1I was not able to fill one cookie sheet with the batter resulting from following the directions above. #2. As I watched the video and followed along by pausing and replaying video, I do not recall you mentioning when it was time to put baking powder 😔 or the pinch of salt. I just noticed it because i went back to see if I could find any notes on why I could barely fill one standard sized cookie sheet 😔did i miss it in the video ? Now I'm just hoping that not putting in the baking powder won't affect the outcome 😓

Absolutely unexpected cake, instead of the original - savoiardi based - tiramisu 🤔 I really enjoy tiramisu, and it is a part of my childhood, since my grandma was used to prepare it every Spring-end, also to celebrate the end of my hay-fever 😅 Now, although I'm a fan of the original recipe, I like experimenting and I really want to give this cake-version a try... will let you know how it taste 😋 Moreover, thanks for the trick of the paper to avoid cocoa powder everywhere 🙃😜👌 and - as always - thanks for this marvellous recipe 😍👍👍
