I’m half Sicilian and half Calabrese (born and raised in Canada), and this is exactly how my mom makes tiramisu. She never uses egg whites because we all prefer a richer and heavier cream. I’m going to try making my own savoiardi cookies from scratch next time. 🤗

That"s the best tiramesù (yes, tiramesù) receipe. One little thing, Linguanotto Roberto Loli adds the cocoa powder before going to the fridge in order to have it melt into the cream when served.

Taramisu is the lightest yet the most sinful and the most delicious! I can literally eat the whole thing! My kids made their own version of chocolate cupcake and my Son made his own Vanilla Cake for their birthday! The cutest moments of opening their own box on Her 6 and His 9 birthday! No joke! 🤞 I never joke about signs and syncronicities! Still have some left over from an event from last weekend! Helping a friend!

Guys, I always wanted to make tiramisu but I grew being told to never eat raw eat. It is ok now to eat raw eggs? I really want to make it. Just a heads up… I live in Australia and our eggs are not pasturised.

There Is another way to make It. In a bowl with boiling water a bain-marie, mix the sugar with eggs. Let cool and then add the Mascarpone. (With a little Marsala or Amaretto liquor even better)

The recommendation for the tiramisu to be firm is to heat the yolks together with the sugar, in a water bath at 40 degrees while beating for 10 minutes.
