How long should I allow for visiting kawagoe?

We feel a full day is needed to see the highlights of Kawagoe, including time for sampling the local cuisines and coffee break. If possible, get there by 10am, especially if you intend to rent a kimono for your sightseeing. You can have dinner at Kawagoe before taking the train back to Tokyo.
