Danny,. You are our hero. 100% the real deal! Loving my Ultimate Antenna I bought off "the E store." Made my own vhf attachment. ( Made to look like yours. Works great in our area, too. I am sure yours is better though.) My son lives 2 miles away. He had a terrible time receiving ch 13, Ashville NC 65 miles away. Ordered him an Ultimate, made the vhf addition and now he gets it GREAT! (Also gets Augusta GA 100 miles in the opposite direction. Hard for him to admit it, but old Dad did something RIGHT!). Keep on doing good brother!

Hey Danny I just want to let you know that I have watched maybe hundreds of videos about antennas and how to make them and just a number of of how over the air works…. It’s been maybe three years since I last talked to you I have talked to you several times on the phone and I sent you a number of pictures while you were helping me make the best antenna ever and I have watched every video that you have ever made and I enjoy you and your videos…. This is just a shout out to you to thank you for the money you saved me and the enjoyment I have had watching your videos thank you Danny

I have gone thru seversl boosters over the yrs. Channel Master at one time was the best, then the last one was a Chinese made and a piece of junk. I have gone thru 3 RCA type for 30.00 dollars. They didnt last as long as the original Channel Master. RCA lasts only so long in the weather. We have cold, ice, rain in NW Ark. We have one VHF 13, the rest on UHF. I used the long Yagi type for a while w booster. Cables deteriorate connection corrode. Your designs are great. You use good materials. Ppl mistake what boosters do. It has to have signal to work with. Some channels are higher in wattage. A booster can OVERLOAD THE TV AND BECOME UNWATCHABLE. ITs a balance. Great stuff you have! Good work.

Hey Danny: I built one but used galvanized wire (cause thats what I had). Picked up 38 channels without the reflector or booster thru the trees. Probably get 7 more with the reflector. I’m about 55 mi. N. of New Orleans. Gonna do my next one with the copper. Folks; this is for real. Thx. Mark

Danny it would be cool to see the distance it would get where I live. I live on the second highest point in GA here in Macon off interstate 75. Have you thought of making a ultimate antenna with a director element in front of your hot/driven element? 3 element yagi

Hi Danny what kind of wire do you use and gauge size ....I'm getting tired of stripping the plastic of electrical wire . Thanks for the help . Great job and love your video's

I think 10 or 12 gauge copper, but not sure. Metal coat hanger works too.

Hey Danny, I've made the ultimate and hoverman with the hats. I have a 50 dbuV/m hi-v channel 7 that is 46 miles away. I can't get it with either antenna at around 20 ft up. Anything I can try? There is a main (one of them big ones) electric line about 1000ft away in the line of the broadcast tower, maybe that is the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

power lines will block...go under are over....and that channel may not have much kilowatt power...look up the station power

This is a very hazardous product. 16 wires just waiting for someone to jam into an eye. At the very least those bow tine ends should be bent in on themselves. For new builds make them 1/2 inch or so longer to allow for the bend in. For existing units, someone's eye is not worth the 1/2 inch. Bend them in. At the very least securely attach an eye protector to the ends. For instance a ball of some sort. Like has be done on antennas for many decades. You've all seen them on everything from rabbit ears, to automobiles, and portable radios. Don't argue about it. Just do it! Someone's eye is NOT an acceptable risk. Putting a wire nut on the tine ends would be better than nothing.

WRONG! The uhf elements are shorter in the front of the yagi antenna. Vhf is lower power and requires longer elements. Your talking shit
