Went through my older gear and a few newer bits and bobs and managed to put together a very "budget" version of this kind of system. I started with an Asrock B760 mobo, 14600KF, 64GB DDR5 6400, gen 3 2TB Samsung NVMe and 2 1TB of the same line, and a bunch of leftover DeepCool parts like a AIO, 1200watt PSU and a CH560 case. The highlight though is a pair of Nvidia Quadro P4000 GPUs with 8GB GDDR5. I was quite gobsmacked at how fast that beastie turned out to be considering everything is second-ish tier or lower. I'm using this to run my 3D printers and CAD software for them and it works great.

Loving the power-switch lock on that case - I had to disable the power switch on my PC for a while as my daughter had a phase of really liking to press it when she was ~1-2 years old! I ended up with a wired switch higher up on the desk!

The intel z790 has 20 pcie lanes, and these gpus takes x16 pcie lanes powers so how was it possible to have 2 gpus in this platform? Because I am looking for using this GPU and Blackmagic capture card which uses x8 pcie lane power so I’m thinking of the Xeon w790 platform….

Video card cooling alert. The top card won`t be getting cooling at all. It`s sucking in the hot air from the bottom card. The same thing always happened with sli back in the day, but even then there was more space between cards. This is simply killing it.

Actually it's not as bad as you think, doing testing yes the top card is abit hotter, but not 'killing' it, the front fans supply plenty of air for both of them :)

Beautiful finished PC, ASUS has done a great job creating all the parts for creators including the case. Where do you stand on the 14900K after the issues Intel seems to be having? It seems that the newly released stable settings by the motherboard vendors are cutting performance down considerably on these chips.
