I forgot that sniper rifles and warp explosions were against the rules of the game. I also forgot that vanguards are allowed to do nothing else besides charge with a shotgun. Thanks for clearing that up.

I knew that when you know what to do with a Vanguard, what seems to be the best way to play is "Aggressive". However, I've never seen THAT aggressive. Great job!

I am constantly using charge in this video. I don't pigeonhole myself to "only using charge" like some other vanguards. Most of my biotic combos were setup by charge and scimitar gunfire which is far different from Sentinel or Adept gameplay.

Impressive. . The combo Reave + Pull + Warp was great. I guess this is the first Vanguard video that really appeals to me, and I watched lots of them. But this one is by far the best. 5 Stars.

@Yamagashi Yes they do. Those that aren't marked in grey are his mapped squad members' powers. Notice the two "Reave" (one being Samara's) and the "Overload" (Miranda), a power that Vanguards can't have.

@bigsamson100 its not stupid. his skills are the ones that are on cooldowns. Squadmate cooldowns are different so... you can use three different skills 1 is u 2 are from team

I Followed your guide back then and thank you for showing me that Vangaurd is the MOST Badass FUn class of ME2, i am on my second vanguard and it never gets old. Vanguard comes first with Sentinel (assault armor-shotgun to the face) second. BUT unlike you , i DO use reaver NEVER OR dominate as i find these powers kinda overpwered (especially reave). Vanguard manages JUST right without Reave, just charge tactically as you are showing in your awesome vids with the occasionally crowd control pull

No. There is a mod for that.. sure, but it was not applied here. He attached the squadmate powers to his hotkeys. That's why there are two reaves. One is his, the other is Samara's. And besides Vanguards don't have overload or warp. Those are Miranda's powers.

@JohanLidas Gl doing it this fast with a sentinel. He was trying to do it as fast as possible, he didn't even use his heavy weapon and still made it faster than should be possible for any other class (if you kill all the mobs).

@death2win This IS possible on the 360. The pull+warp combos are a bit trickier to do on the D-Pad, but it's all possible.

@krisnye Of course it'll be possible, but in a much lesser extent. Aiming is simply slower and less accurate on a console than on the pc, and the 3 hotkey limit on the 360 isn't helping either. The radial skill menu works great, but it takes out all the speed and the 'awesome' out of it.

There is that plasma shotgun on the firepower DLC, I've used it on my squad and it is very good but I never used it myself (Sentinel with Assault rifle training)

Amazing gameplay! Your build is kinda different than most vanguard players, meaning, no constant charge abuse, and using Claymore shotgun exclusively. Are you using smicitar for it's effectiveness, or just to turn up the difficulty?

@bansh3ee Hmmm, that made me wonder, could Scimitar + Mattock function the same way? I've beaten Mass Effect 2 with all classes except Vanguard (I tried it at first, but quited, since I wasn't accustomed to gameplay and failed almost everywhere...), and I'm looking for most fitting (and relatively easy to use) build for me. I'm currently thinking of testing GPS + Mattock Vanguard build (Yeah, I'm a chicken, when it comes to close-perimeter). Any bit of advice?

Good vid. the Scimitar is definitely the best shotgun for aggressive, run in tear things apart play... Personally, I like the AR (m-15) over the sniper rifle. It encourages you to get and stay closer to the enemy... Then again, what you did here... no the case. lol.
