If you are slightly better than the Yorick (and the chance of this being the case is probably higher than you think because a lot of people simply pick a counter without knowing how to actually play the champion), then you can go summon aery + scorch + nimbus cloak + ignite and either flash or ghost and fight him extremely hard early on while zoning him from xp and gold, and if you manage to play it well, you will build a strong enough lead to win at any part of the game because if he builds damage, you oneshot him, and if he builds tank, he will not be a thread in sidelane, and then you win by outsustaining and doing better in teamfights anyways. Perhaps give it a try ^^ I can only speak for myself, of course, but so far it has been working great from diamond to master 250 lp on EUW whenever I have been counterpicked by Yorick as Vlad.

Poke where you can. If you’re w max you should have the CDR to pool his stun every time. Panth in my experience generally wants to poke with Q and all in when you’re low hp lvl 1-3. Play around his cooldowns and survive till 6 and it’s impossible to lose imo

W is getting nerfed soon I hear but the main to survive till 6 is making panth choose between hitting you vs hitting the wave. Just like Elite explained in vid so many matchups and loses happen because of wave state not mechanics. The best thing I ever did when learning vlad was learning how to control minion waves. Game changer I promise

Yall, I need advice. I've only been playing league for 2 seasons, primarily on wildrift (don't laugh, it's a great version of the game, i have much more fun than on PC and prefer the pacing) HOWEVER. I play a fairly deep selecti9n of champs as a top OTP (Urgot, Aatrox, Graves, Nasus, Mundo, Malph, Warwick, Renekton and Vlad) yet I cant seem to play anyone nearly as well as aatrox. I've got like 50 games on aatrox with a win rate over 68%, currently on a 16 or so win streak with the champ. Yet I want SO BADLY to be a competent vlad player. I tried playing him for 100 consecutive games, tanked yhe shit outta my rank and am currently sitting on 46% win rate on the champ. I have watched every vlad guide I can find, tried every viable build out there and even made a few of my own (in love with ability haste spam), but whenever I switch back to aatrox even after 30+ matches since my last astrox game, I get easy A and S ratings. I want so desperately to be a vlad main yet I can't play any other champ nearly as well as this boring ass aatrox. Why is this, what changes can I make?

vlad top isn't in a good spot right now, items are so trash (cosmic, riftmaker, etc) only good if you can afk farm or stomp a bad opponent. vlad is basically a OTP champion right now since a few seasons ago (back in s9-s10 he was so op than anyone with some games can learn how to carry with him easily) anyways, vlad is a hard champion so don't be disappointed of your performance already, is also super flexible and there so many tips than a main vlad has to know (and you only can put these on practice playing with him) pd: my english is trash

ok im pretty sure what he means is that you take hp runes, which from vlad passive get turned into ap, which is then multiplied by deathcap, and then that ap is turned into hp from vlad passive, which then goes into riftmaker to give you more ap which then goes through rabadons again. so I think vlad is the only champ because of his passive+riftmaker to get two multiplications of ap from rabadons.
