I haven't played pool in many years but when I did, we played 6, 8, 9 ball, straight pool and keeley or pill pool. What's the point of 10 ball other than it's one more ball than 9 ball? I understand 6 ball as it was a quick game that a mediocre player had a chance to run the table a lot easier than 9 ball. We usually bet on it and the bet was double on the run and double on the break.

The older announcer needs to retire. First of all, he was commentating almost as much on a match we couldn't even see, and he also made some stupid comment about how the women could learn a few tricks from the men. Has he not ever watched Allison or Karen Corr or Ga Yung Kim or Ewa Lawrence or a lot of other female players come up with some remarkable shots? Go back to the Victorian Age, old man.

Danny Diliberto was one of the best pool players in the 60's and 70's; he knows what he's talking about. Although, he slips once in awhile; Danny is from a period of time that was not always politically correct. He knows pool.
