I bet you're going to love it. I have a '23 EVO2-R and it is at least as good as all the ride reviews claim. The S is just as capable but I am glad I went with the R.

Hey @Goratchthemule, The R model has a handful of upgrades that are definitely appealing, though a few enterprising owners have taken a more economical route with the S and slowly converted to an R. The main advantage I see with the R is the wider rear wheel, which accommodates a 180/55 rear tire and has some handling/grip advantages . There is also the standard quickshifter, dual caliper setup, and AIM dash. Either way, the S or R model would make a lot of track day/club racers quite happy. Take care! - Nic

Hey @GCSTRADE09, That's an interesting question that specifically speaks to the "S" model's purpose. Let's look at the practical side of things first: Jumping to a purpose-built racebike as your first trackday machine is the best pathway to get into roadracing/trackdays, simply because a Kramer is entirely prepared when it arrives at your door. You'll avoid the costly process of converting a production motorcycle for racing or dedicated track use and have a machine that's truly designed for racing. This is Kramer's gateway bike and you're looking for a gateway into the scene. Skill level-wise, this would be a solid place to start, given that you've got some experience as a rider. Again, the Kramer's chassis adjustability, stiffness, and pointed nature make it arguably one of the best tools out there for honed riding skills. You'll have the opportunity to develop setting up your bike and the freedom to adjust suspension, steering angle, swingarm angle, etc. You're dealing with a manageable 75ish horsepower at the rear wheel and an incredibly light, maneuverable chassis, which provides a much more connected feel than racetrack-prepped production motorcycles. The main questions you must ask yourself are probably logistical: Do you have tracks nearby? Are there trackday organizations where you can ride pretty regularly? Is there an active club racing organization where you could get licensed and race? Likewise, it would be best to ask similar questions about switching to Enduro (OHV access, trail access, etc). @ultimatemotorcycling great thx for the reply. There are tracks in VA. One does like a season pass. Also I am a otr truck driver so I was thinking about putting a bike in storage in different areas throughout the country mixing it up every few years. Endro for sure in New Mexico, Colorado, Utah for something like SXS racing. Maybe theyll dip into Enduro bikes racing ATV as a line up also. Definitely will be keeping this brand in mind
