No idea Hulk had I.G ! and I was in high school when The Infinity Gauntlet came out in 1991.. I will never forget when Hulk and Thing tossed wolverine at Thanos... Thanos looked down with a sense of shock.. And was all like, okay bub, sponge bob time!!! heheh If not for that gauntlet, Wolverine came the closet and would have dealt that "fatal" blow. I loved how Thanos dealt with each Hero/villain in his own way.. Toying with them, as he toys with our emotions! Thanks for this video dude! Damn.

Though Hulk is not technically a god, he can hold his own pretty well against most of the gods in the marvel universe, and without the the gauntlet... With the gauntlet he's pretty much second only to the one above all... btw, in this story, besides from teleporting behind cap & multiplying himself, everything he did was plain Hulk [no gauntlet was needed for that].

I think that these really out there stories, while interesting, are part of the problem that the Ultimate Universe finally got cancelled; none of the stories by one writer seemed to connect with those by another writer, and it was just complete (although again, interesting) confusion.

Chup Smith Problem with ultimate universe was that it tried to be way too edgy, adding in smut and changing so many well established characters for giant wtf moments. For instance, reed as the villain was beyond stupid.....I could see him being a pragmatic guy and going quite dark in ultimates but his turn to a villain was way to quick....dude killed his own family. They did try to explain it as him knowing of cataclysm but by then it just seemed too stupid. They did that with lots of different characters. The hormones of xmen was in overdrive making it almost unbearable to read. While the twist with quicksilver and scarlet witch having an incestuous relationship was interesting, the execution and fallout was not capitalized upon. I still remember the dumb ultimates comic where hulk was on a rampage, wasp flashed him with her tits and he shouted 'hulk the HORNIEST of them all'....was like...wtf....that innuendo at that moment cheapened the rampage, and it wasn't funny. Shit like that brought ultimate universe down. Their single most success was the peter Parker Spider-Man series....up to his death. All else was kinda shit. I liked their take on mutants being manufactured, but by then the universe was already too much shit

One thing I don't understand, is why Quicksilver was never given time travelling abilities like the Flash? Dope you should do a breakdown of the Ultimate Fantastic Four. This video was interesting because it seems that each member of the team went their different ways. Like why did Reed become evil? Why and how did Sue become Kang? What happened to Johnny and Ben? Did they end up going their separate ways as well?

Ultimate Sue didn't become Kang. That's an alternate version. As to what happened to the Fantastic Four as a team, they disbanded after the Baxter Building was partly destroyed and many resources were lost during an apocalyptic event called Ultimatum. Magneto had tampered with the Earth's poles, causing a massive tsunami that flooded New York. Franklin Storm, Sue's and Johnny's father and mentor to the team was among the victims, and the FF felt they couldn't go on without his guidance. So Reed returned to his neglectful family, Johnny moved in with Spider-Man to live a simpler life, and Ben and Sue joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and eventually the Ultimates. There's more to their story but that's what initially happened

What if in Avengers 4 the hulk once told the news about half of his friends turned to ash punches thanos once he returns from the soul stone through 5 or 15 Wakanda trees than the Gaunlet immediately falls off then the survivors rush to it but hulk grabs it than the most smile worthy thing happens thanos gets punched to death with his own weapon. Than we see captain ask hulk for the Gaunlet after thanos is bruised with blue blood. Cap grabs the Gaunlet then takes the time and soul and reverses the heroes death's than after there reversed all of them go back in time que Avengers 4 title

I've grotto say I love how you explain the comics for us old timers. I believe you and Comicstorian to both do a complete history of marvel\DC comic lines. Once your forced to stop reading for a decade or so due to raising kids and more important things to spend money on you come back and read stuff and go WTF?! Another good topic would be were comics messed up in the long run. Two exelent examples ( for me) is the Death of Superman and Knight fall. Both great stories for the time but who many other great stories would have come if they left Superman dead or Batman's back broken? Just my two cents.
