What tool did he use to loosen the pulley

The tool used in the video is called a lady foot pry. We like it because it opens the clutch a little wider than the Polaris tool and it makes taking the belt off easier. You can get the tool from various sources. For example, www.harborfreight.com/3-pc-pry-bar-set-68339.html or www.amazon.com/Mayhew-40152-16-Inch-Lady-Foot/dp/B000GTMQ8E/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=pry%2Bbar%2Blady%2Bfoot&qid=1571055160&sr=8-5&th=1

Thanks for viewing our video. We hope it was helpful. We would always suggest using an Ultimax belt. We showed the BRP belt as an example of a belt with directional arrows. Belts aren’t directional, so the way you put it on doesn’t matter. The arrows are there so that if you ever take the belt off, you can put it back on in the same direction. For maximum belt life, it’s a good idea to always keep the belt running in the same direction. Ultimax belts don’t have arrows, so we recommend putting them on so you can read the label. Get in this habit and you are assured that the belt is always running the same direction.
