Fun facts regarding both characters: in Legacy of Goku 2, officially Toe licensed GBA game, in his Super Namekian form Piccolo recovers his health, the only character in the game who does that. And Vegeta has the highest endurance level of all characters. Only Ssj2 Gohan (called Super Saiyan Rage in the game) has higher, but only in that form, as his stats are maxed out.

It’d be nice if Vegeta and Piccolo developed their own kind of rivalry outside of Goku. Right now, Vegeta has far too many hax for Piccolo to keep up with. So unless Toriyama gives Piccolo some hax to even the odds, Vegeta takes it. I’d like to imagine Piccolo would make him work for it though.

Forced Spirit Fission is Vegeta's claim to victory with a couple of punches he could knock Kami & Nail out of Piccolo drastically dropping his power in the same way Buu's strength decreased when Goku & Vegeta ripped the 'people pods' holding Piccolo & the boys in Buu's head. As for Hakai, we've seen from True Golden Frieza & Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Vegeta that if you're strong enough to overpower energy of destruction then you won't be vaporized. I could see Orange Piccolo (at the start of the fight) being powerful enough to NOT get wiped from existance from the technique. Heck, we know he could regenerate. However, if the battle went on long enough and Vegeta took enough damage to grow to a power above Orange Piccolo then I could see him being able to use it successfully on him. One last thought, if Piccolo grew into a giant then Vegeta would need to shot a Hakai LARGE enough and POWERFUL enough to take out his much bigger opponent. I don't know if he could pull that off, but you never know with those Saiyans...

To everybody asking about Forced Spirit Fission; YES, it would be an easy win for Vegeta, but this is about FIGHTING and COMBAT. If Vegeta does that, then its no fight. This is what would happen is they FOUGHT, from a martial arts perspective. Vegeta doing that would eliminate the fight.

As strong as orange piccolo it would be a little unlikely he able to beat ultra ego Vegeta. He might be strong to injure ultra ego Vegeta. First Vegeta trained and learned how to do the hakai from an actual destroyer. Hakai requires the use of god ki. Piccolo got his power up from shernon. It’s likely shernon can’t grant anyone god ki. It would still be a very interesting fight to see between these two badasses.

Power scaling in Dragon Ball has always been about hype and popularity and never about consitency or any hard logic. If Orange Piccolo sells enough toys I can guarantee you that he'll take Vegeta spot as number 2 in dragon ball. And frankly Piccolo is far more deserving than Vegeta. @@ssppeeaarr Vegeta hasn't been putting more work in than any other character. Hell until DBS all the training Vegeta has done consisted on push ups and lifting weights, oh and talking about pride. Meanwhile most other characters have been seen meditating, training their ki, fighting techniques, etc, on top of lifting the same weights as vegeta does. Vegeta gets to be second in the food chain because of popularity and hype. I'm not even saying that vegeta is a trash character, but people need to stop acting as if Vegeta has been this super dedicated guy above all other characters on the show and deserves his spot as a result. That is not true. He gets to be in his position due to Goku needing a sparring and fusion companion, and from a creative stand point is easier to make Goku the trailblazer for another pure blooded sayan than to generate an entire new logic for a totally different character like a namekian or an earthling who'd need a whole new cohesive backstory on power scaling to keep the suspended belief alive. Gohan is a prodigy, Goku is a prodigy, Piccolo is a prodigy, even Yamcha is a prodigy when compared to other members of his race. In DB being a prodigy doesn't make Vegeta any more deserving of power boosts than other characters, least of all a namekian who is tied to one of the most powerful entities in the whole multiverse, the super dragon, has been alive for thousands of years, was literally the God of earth and is a master of martial arts. The more I look at it the more if feels like they've been doing Piccolo very dirty and he deserves way more than Vegeta keeps getting for screaming "prince" like it's a tic.

Vegeta has learned many new techniques in DBS to include the spirit fission technique. Let’s also talk about the dragons always having the same color schemes as the Namekians and how Piccolo’s color scheme is like Super Shenron (In his Orange form). There may be a read for that. He’s always training and with 2 new transformations we can expect for Piccolo to explore new techniques as well.

Since super hero’s is now in the manga I think it’s now easier compare now since it was stated the movie takes place after broly with Moro and granola not existing yet. I would say the first thing we should compare first is gohan and piccolo’s battle with Saganbo, They both got destroyed by him and Gohan who was post top was stronger than Kefla. The piccolo didn’t struggle with the gammas the same way he did with Saganbo and when Gohan turned ultimate again he was beating gamma 1, and that version of Gohan since piccolo said gohans a bit rusty, we can assume is not stronger than the Moro arc Ultimate Gohan so therefore we can say this: Piccolo>Gammas>Ultimate Gohan>Saganbo This would make piccolos orange form probably on par or a little stronger than Saganbo. And let’s not forget ssj blue goku destroyed saganbo. This would make blue Goku Moro arch stronger than the gammas, which is why piccolo saying “they are on par with Goku and Vegeta” in the mange is werid(in the movie I could understand). And since Gohan and piccolo never seen granola we can assume they are talking about Mui Goku and Evo Vegeta during the moro arc as well meaning beast Gohan is probably stronger than Mui Goku from the Moro arc but not current or mue Vegeta. We can also assume he is not stronger than granola as well or black Frieza. Cell max incomplete is probably Moro Mui Goku minimum, and broly not sure how strong he’s gottan since gogeta, he’s probably stronger than incomplete cell max and it was stated completed cell max is stronger than him, but I would say Mui Goku and UE Vegeta are also stronger than Broly currently as well. And here are my final thoughts: piccolo >Gammas>Ultimate Gohan>Saganbo>orange piccolo>Moro arc blue Goku>>>>cell max incomplete>BeastGohan>=Broly>granola>=UE Vegeta>=Mui Goku>>>black Frieza

I'm going to disagree. Vegeta could potentially underestimate Piccolo. For example in the Saiyan Saga Piccolo was the one to kill Raditz by increasing and concentrating the focus of his power in to 1 of the most lethal penetrating attacks in all of DB period. Also Vegeta can't go giant if he really wanted to(currently) Piccolo doesn't have that limitation on him, he can access it at any time. Vegeta can absorb damage yes; but what if Vegeta is getting stomped on by a being much bigger and stronger than him in terms of physicality. And also Piccolo can use that power all in his Orange/Dragon Piccolo form. His regeneration was touched on, Vegeta does have a hard limit physically. We saw this in the Granola Arc, he and Goku still need a Senzu or healer to recover. Piccolo can at times sustain himself or come back from MASSIVE injuries. Like when Cell almost killed him, when Freezer blasted him in the chest ect. So there are my counter arguement points.

I’ll go with Piccolo especially if they fighting on even terms a lot of people forgot how good Piccolo was against Android 17 and it’s probably some healing abilities Piccolo has in that Orange form that can also help in the battle with Vegeta but Piccolo can’t let the fight go the distance he needs to end it as fast as possible and with him being a strategist best believe he will be looking for the kill.

I got a question it's about Ki sensing. We know that the zfighters couldn't sense beerus but deities like the Kais and Kami can You have a similar thing where Goku and Gohan couldn't sense the universe 9 dog trio's Ki. Did they ever explain why and if so what was the difference between universe 9 and 6 to where they could sense universe 6 combatants. Is it due to the link between 6 and 7 and does that apply to every universe like can only universe 2 and 11 sense eachother?

The thing with beerus and deities is that they have/use god-ki by default. And you can‘t sense that kind of ki without learning how. In the early parts of dbs Gokus and Vegetas KI also always vanished for the rest of the z-fighters when they used the god or blue form. But them not being able to sense the dogs is certainly not a trait of universe 9 fighters what so ever. Only the 3 dogs had no sensible KI, the rest of the team could be sensed. And not having sensible ki isn‘t even new or unique to universe 9 fighters. The androids/cyborgs also can‘t be sensed for example. Meaning the dog-trio is likely just an anomaly in that they are able to hide their ki, or they fuel their strength/power in a different way like the androids do, that they have different KI all together and you have to learn how to sense it. And the universe 7 fighters could sense all other fighters from the entire mutli-verse, a „link“ like with universe 6 isn‘t necessary. They simply feel the KI because it is.. there.

When it comes to Vegeta and Piccolo's durability feats let's not forget: Vegeta was surviving strikes aimed at his vital organs, where as Piccolo was just getting smacked around by Cell Max, who was a brute, and wasn't fighting with any finesse (so his blows weren't hitting as hard as they could).

I think... it depends. I feel as if, Piccolo has not only higher energy reserves, but it's not just toughness that aids him, it's his ability to regenerate. I think, while there is a greater likelihood that Vegeta would win, Piccolo could though. Like 80/20 split. If Vegeta weren't careful in his approach. Which, given his pride and overconfidence, very well could happen. Especially, because right now, he has no real understanding of Piccolo's new power. Oh, and one other thing. Are we ignoring how Frieza was able to take a Hakai blast? Not once, but on two occasions I do believe. So, given where we feel Orange Piccolo is and Vegeta having yet to master such, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility he could survive. If not flat out evade. I mean, he has seen the Hakai, he'd know to avoid it. I am certain he would recognize the energy. The only advantage Vegeta has with it, is Piccolo has yet to see him use it. If Vegeta misses that first blast, it could become fruitless to even attempt.

Can you do a video on the psychic powers in the dragon all universe? Frieda uses telekinesis, Goku uses a few telepathic powers, Vegeta also shows some. I know Dragonball had a psychic and King Kai having some telepathy makes sense. But goku froeza & vegeta having those in Z are just glossed over.

I hope in thw future chapters piccolo decides to power up by getting to know his true name as the Legendary Namekian who decided to be Kami of earth by allowing vegeta to force fission himself with Nail and Kami and reabsorbs them to know his true self stronger and more powerful. Vegeta and Piccolo are the most strategic fighters with a slight edge on Piccolo since vegeta fights with ego and can be self destructive while Piccolo has Namekian physiology that allows him to pull off same tactic but still be able to regenerate.

I think this fight could go either way. Toriyama's statement says Piccolo "rivals Goku and the others" which more than likely means Vegeta, but even then, Vegeta isn't on Goku's level. In Super Hero we see in base they are equal, but in their highest form TUI is a power that beat Gas who beat UE and MUI at once, so unless Vegeta made UE his own (like how Goku unlocked True Ultra Instinct), Goku should be able to defeat Vegeta relatively easily. If Goku and Vegeta are equal and Piccolo rivals them, Ultra Ego's ability to grow stronger should push him over Orange Piccolo. If they aren't equal, then you have to ask who Piccolo rivals between the two (or if he is in the middle and can fight both). If Piccolo rivals Goku who is above Vegeta, then I'd say Orange Piccolo should win, although if Vegeta can hold out, Ultra Ego might push him over Piccolo, but I'd still bet on Orange. Basically: if they are equal Vegeta should win; if not and Piccolo rivals Goku, then he should win.

From what we've seen in the tournament of power when vegeta fought toppo or when frieza deflected the hakai energy blast, is that the hakai technique only works on the weaker opponents. Vegeta was able to overcome Toppo's destruction energy because he had a higher power level than Toppo. So having Hakai energy is not a sure win. Ultimately, all techniques are tied to the power level of the user.

Piccolo vs. Vegeta is a fight I always wanted to see. There have been several times in the Dragon Series, Piccolo was stronger, and it always surprised Vegeta. Now, to be honest with what's going on currently, I'm not fully up-to-date. But in terms of a fight that is competitive or sparring/ training, I think Piccolo has a way better chance at besting Vegeta or, at the very least, would get the upper hand over him. A more serious fight, life or death, no holding back. I still think it would be a great fight for both, but I think Vegeta would eventually come out the victor. And this assumption I have is based more on their history of fighting. Both are tactical geniuses and have amazing powers & abilities, but when it comes to a warriors spirit, that's where vegeta has the edge. Also I think despite the obvious tension between them, their is a huge respect for one another.

To be fair it all depends how strong the gamms were and cell max, if cell max was stronger than ui goku then he was stronger than ue vegeta, so then piccolo vs vegeta might be a lot closer fight than many would assume, ue vegeta was getting stronger yes but as seen in the manga that was ultimately his downfall because he took too much punishment. Many people say super hero was done while there was manga ongoing so it doesn't matter that super hero is later in timeline and that's true but who knows maybe toriyama knew the outcome of the granola/gas story and when he stated that piccolo has a power that can rival goku/vegeta he meant ue vegeta and ui goku. Its all speculations obviously but who knows 😂
