I like to crisp up my quinoa with aromatics if I'm going to be tossing it with other ingredients. Gives it a better mouth feel and contrast.

Picky equals bland? 🤢
@Terryterryterryterryterry4 ай бұрын
@@PeachShortcake_ no? I just don't like many fruit or veggies. I like seasonings, though? That's not bland. I don't think seasonings and spices are gross 😂 I don't think most picky eaters think that. You don't really notice spices, other than the taste. I think it's mostly a texture thing, like certain fruits or veggies feel gross. For example, I don't like strawberries because of all of the seeds, but I will drink strawberry soda or candy 😅 So I'm okay with the flavor. Similarly, I pick out the onions in my food, but I'm okay with onion powder for flavor? Or ketchup, I hate tomatoes, but I do use ketchup. So not really bland, since you can still flavor stuff. Just don't like eating certain fruits and veggies straight up.

As a chef I need to say thay this way of cutting stuff makes me feel physical pain. Not only does it not make any sense, it also is highly disrespectful towards the ingredients. Its quicker and better to cut the ingredients like a normal person. This is just wrong
