I used rice cooker since 90's until now. My family loves rice and never made mashed potatoes. Everyone is busy and it really saves my time. The rice was perfect. Most of the time I used the left over rice to make fried rice with shrimp, chicken and vegetables. Life is good.

@@KiKiD9554 check out the “Tiger” brand. I would recommend getting one that can do asynchronous cooking (ex: cooking rice and steaming other things like veggies and fish) all at once

I can't believe I've never seen how to chop broccoli like this! Noted for future reference! I love that you show human moments like setting fire to the teatowel. :) I also love that you show us you eating the food without closeups of your face or those horrible MMM noises most people think makes the food sound tasty. I made this and was happy with the results. I did cook the vegs a little less time and next time I make it, I'll be sure to whisk the sauce more to make sure the corn starch hasn't settled to the bottom. Very good flavor without any unnecessary oil.

Was about to throw everything in the middle, when I had strange smell from chicken thigh (I never cooked it before). Then I forced myself to continue, and the result was amazing. Except I didn't add honey because I don't like sweetness. But in the future, will do so because it will tender the sourness of lemon juice. Thank you!

This recipe looks amazing, Jack! I must confess I have been prepping the chicken chimi churry recipe non stop since you shared that gem, but I’m willing to add this one to the mix. I’m a bit picky when it comes to chicken thighs (shame on me) so I will give it a go with chicken breast (I’m totally aware the meat may get a bit dry, though). I can’t thank you enough for all the awesome recipes you have been sharing with us! For someone who works from home often, they help me stay healthy, save time and some money! I hope I can find some of these vacuum containers on one of your links in the description!

Suggest, again marinate chicken first before cooking with salt n pepper n lightly sprinkle corn flour n mixed over before cooking in pan.. Plating with rice in middle is preferred, reason is lemon juice seeps to broccoli and will cause it to turn less than green when ready to consume. The rice will absorb some of the yummy lemon sauce when reheating.. Thank you.

Fantastic recipe. With some small changes to portions and ingredient choice you can easily make this for a bulk or diet meal prep. Id opt for chicken breast and alternative to the honey to keep some calories off for a great weight loss meal prep. Thanks!

Definetely not inexpensive if you dont already have sesame oil and a bunch of other stuff he threw in there. If I were to buy this now with the ingredients I currently/regularly have at home it would cost me probably 40 dollars in my country
