Ultra instinct effects differ on mortals and gods both physically and mentally , as whis said he mastered his ultra instinct , meaning its always active but you might be wondering why theres no aura or heat like goku , its because ultra instinct was a technique only meant to be used by gods , it is designed specifically for divine bodies , for a mortal to use this there will be some side effects , the most obvious con for a mortal to use it is that it burns stamina and if not used wisely , whis stated that it could lead to death . And also another difference for the use of UI by mortals is the aura , when gods or angels use ultra instinct they dont show any physical changes to the body , theres no aura and such and second its not realy a power boost and it was never stated as a power boost its only a technique or state to which heightens your overall fighting sense to "god level" like dodging or attacking etc , with the exception of goku who just whooped jiren's ass after he transformed to UI considering ssb 20x kaioken barely did anything , so maybe if UI is used by mortals it gives significant power boost i guess ,and also if UI is used by a god there is no negative side effects unlike when goku first used it . Beerus can also use UI but he has not yet mastered it , but i think it would be nice if the ultra instinct aura was a standard tho . That way we can see whis look more badass

Yeah, I like the idea of it being a technique...but they kind of ruined that when Goku got a power boost from it. They could have just saved it with the typical zenkai boost, but again they made it clear it was him using UI that gave him more power. I don't know what they're building towards at this point. We all know a bigger bad will be coming along where they have to introduce a greater transformation, but at this point legitimately being on the level of the most powerful beings in Dragon Ball introduced so far...where are they going from here?

@@Dilaudid281 tbh , i dunno and i hope it's a one time thing cuz having ultra instinct just breaks the meta game , i know he needed that in order to fight jiren that time , but the technique itself is just too op that goku almost whooped jiren by himself if only the recoil did not kick in. so yeah , i agree that they ruined it because they made the technique an exclusive transformation for goku. but if there's another mortal who can use UI then i guess it won't ruin the meta to much anymore and goku would have an equal i guess . but i prefer not because i want goku and vegeta to remain as rivals forever , cuz giving goku a more op powerup just gives mah boi vegeta a huge disadvantage. that's why i like vegeta more cuz he got less bullsht than goku , cuz everything that goku accomplished , vegeta also accomplished it by his own and sheer effort like his first ssj god transformation(well except when he succumb to babidi's power to get stronger i guess, but that's just a one time thing, he regrets it) and his exclusive ssb form now which i dunno what's it called. vegeta is just more likable than goku imo

Benski05 that’s because he is a pure-blooded saiyan. They are known to have longer lifespans and age much slower. As stated by vegeta: “saiyans stay in their prime until 70-80 years”. Also Goku was dead for 8 years so everyone else is 8 years older than him. He is around 40 years old currently.

Correct, and Ultra Instinct is NOT responsible for the power boost, ONLY the speed boost with the power boost being a separate powerup altogether and is not a transformation but merely higher base power. To anyone saying it's the same, it's not. Transformation vs technique is literally the reason Blue Kaioken works. It really does make a difference because if it were a transformation Goku likely would not be able to use a transformation on top of it or if he did there would be some differences. With it being a technique it means SSJ can and likely will be put on top of it.

Jiren was toying with Goku regardless of Ultra Instinct. He was not showing any signs of slowing down, fatigue, or really showing any effort in general blocking Goku's attacks. I think that Jiren is holding back the majority of his power for dealing with the Grand Priest's hidden agenda. He sees the potential in Goku and let him stay in the match, he could have knocked Goku out of the ring whenever he wanted. I think that this "Ultra Instinct" Goku isn't the fully developed new form, but rather a halfway transformation, like False SSJ. Maybe Goku's silver eyes represents tapping into the new form, but not a complete transformation because his hair is still black. Super Saiyan Silver would be badass, and I think Jiren is determined to bring that power out of Goku to help him deal with the Grand Priest, which I believe Jiren might have an idea as to what he's ultimately planning. Maybe he could be indirectly 'training' Goku to toughen him up so he can help in the final battle against the Grand Priest? Only time will tell. That's just my prognostication :) Edit: I was half right! Super Saiyan Silver was confirmed, but no evil grand priest. At the time of writing this comment they could have went in this direction, but the series is going on a haitus and/or ending, so it won't be happening. Oh well.. lol

turns out: that's wrong. I know that's what we were all taught, but actually a neutron star is a super stellar Z-pinch of plasma. Quite provable by laboratory observation and comparison with nebular photographs of gamma and xray spectrum. Only plasma demonstrates the necessary shapes. Whis did say that he thought the Spirit Bomb was a temporary source of energy, and once that was exhausted, he lost that "aura" so to speak. That cool looking blue/white aura was the spirit bomb energy, I don't think it his new Ultra Instinct form. I think that Goku's body now IS Ultra Instinctive, whether he is in his base form or SS Blue. He doesn't need to change like a Super Saiyan to be Ultra Instinctive, his body just is now. And I base this solely off of the scene at the end, where he is talking to Vegeta and suddenly teleports away to Frieza, I think his body instinctively did that. One thing is for sure, it is freaking badass!!

I've gotta add my two cents here. I believe the only way UI could have been attained, was with a Spirit Bomb. Goku has attained UI through it, and yes, doesn't need a Spirit Bomb going forward for UI, however he needed it to give him the energy boost to sustain his depleted body, as you said. Saiyans get stronger when they're close to death and recover, which no doubt added to Goku's strength, but the form of UI itself comes from something a bit more abstract. Goku has not just come close to death, he's actually died, several times throughout DBZ and Super (and I'm sure all the weird magic shit he dealt with and realms he survived through in the original DB added to it as well), but the fact that Goku had DIED (or at least was at door's death) after getting hit with his own spirit bomb, along with the fact that his friends gave him the energy to bring him back (Universe 7's big power is"trust" aka faith isn't it? and a Spirit Bomb is all "good" energy right? aka prayer), his friend's BELIEF in him, even AFTER DEATH, is what brought him back with the power of UI. Dying all those times previously conditioned and prepared Goku's body for taking his place and the one true God - there's a reason he's the hero of the story, and receiving divine training from Whis. It wouldn't make sense for anyone else to be able to attain this form, unless they were the devil -- is that what Moro could be perhaps? He is designed after a goat, and we all know their ties to devil worship. What I'm saying, is that UI was a result of Goku actually BECOMING DIVINE through DEATH and BELIEF.
