@@Shorts-wb4hqNo it isn't, SSJG has a multitude of differences to base, SSJ and SSJB. I can, of the top of my head, name 7, one for each dragon ball. 1. SSJG is the first canonical transformation to ever have a different aura colour to hair colour 2. SSJG is the first transformation in canon and non-canon to have a texture in the aura in the burning inferno it is 3. SSJG makes Goku look leaner 4. SSJG makes Goku look younger 5. SSJG is the first transformation to increase clothes and skin saturation rather than merely brightening it and yet remains the only one to do so. 6. SSJG is the first and still only transformation where the hair colour has a colour gradient: red-pink and arguably only if light is not a factor. 7. It's also the first transformation to keep the base form hair. SSJB has none of this and is just a lazy recolour of SSJ.

I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Problem is that SSB was not thought of when SSG came about. One of the downsides of Akira's more off the cuff writing style. Would have been great if Dragon Ball Super retconned the names. But it may have just made things confusing.

I don’t like this either, but it’s worth noting that SSJB isn’t actually SSJB, it’s just a shortened name made by Goku, Vegeta and Whis because it originally was a tongue twister. The actual name is of course SSJGSSJ or SSGSS, which makes sense as there’s two SSJs in it.

slight correction at 6:18, its not that gokus super saiyan god was stronger than vegetas blue, as stated by whis vegeta used it to much in one day and due to the energy drain of Blue vegeta wasnt able to use any more than 10 percent of its power, not because his blue is inheirently weaker than gokus god form, but just that his energy had been exhausted, but since goku hadnt used blue yet, his energy wasnt exhausted so god was more than enough to deal with hit, had vegeta not wanted to show off his strength and superiority of the blue form he could have also dealt with hit in god with relative ease, hope that clears things up

Yeah, 6:18 was a pretty big miss tbh. You even showed the panel where Whis explained why Goku was stronger than Vegeta in the Hit fight and still glossed over it, painting a narrative that Goku had better mastery over the form when that wasn't the reason for his better performance at all.

Best way to view it is when Goku used these in the ToP against Jiren. SSG: Jiren was able to block everything with 1 finger SSB: Jiren now needs to use both his forearms to block yet he's still getting pushed around through rocks

@AventSir Depends, Ssjg was far less draining, but when Goku and Vegeta perfected Ssjb, it became a lot better by far. But even with regular ssjb, I'd still say it's so much stronger where it might balance out the disadvantages with the ki drain. But the most effective way would just be to go blue on impact, but the rest of the battle maintain ssjg, just like they did in the Goku Black arc.

The only thing that is debeatable about this is the speed of the forms, because vegeta and goku are still able to keep up with opponents that are blue level by obly using god, like against goku black. So its possible that differently from ssj that increases speed and strenght by 50x conoaree to base, ssjb only encreases strenght and not speed by 50x or if it does its not that relevant.

The Potara Fusion has a confirmed larger multiplier. In the Tournament of Power, Vados confirms that Potara is the full power of both parts multiplied by 10s of times. Base Buu Saga at his lowest is 10,000 times stronger than base Goku. A hypothetical SS3 Vegito is 4 million times base Goku at his lowest and that's ignoring the rival boost. Even in the Broly movie, Base Gogeta is pretty much implied to be as strong or stronger than SSB Goku because SSJ Gogeta went toe to toe with a non full power SSJ Broly. Anyway Going by Supers scaling, Super Vegito was 500,000 times stronger than base Goku at his absolute lowest.

God ki and regular ki are vastly different? No, they really aren't. Regular ki is superior. Characters have accomplished similar and better feats without god ki. It's quite hilarious how irrelevant god ki is in the series that introduced it.

I wonder if we will ever get the ultimate Goku we almost got for the TOP, but Vegeta took that away by destroying the time chamber. With his current state of UI, he could reach the levels of UI Whis is on. He would be able to freely use the power like the angles, and wouldn't have any ki problems. Over time it would actually be his base form, letting him evolve it even further as a technique and a form.
