I love my ATC 3619 (36' version of same trailer) - however I have a slide in the bedroom - which is really nice with the King size bed - not needed with the standard queen size bed. One thing to note about ATC toy haulers - you showed ATC stated pin weight (3000#) without a generator and with a generator for the 4023 ATC states it is 3,300 lbs. - however in the real world they are pin heavy and may be as much as 4,500 lbs. fully loaded for a 4023 - so this is a dually trailer for sure. My 3619 is supposed to be 3,000 lbs. of pin weight with generator - mine empty was closer to 3,300 lbs. With stuff in front lower pass through cabinet and a few things under the bed - I was north of 3,500 lbs. Fully loaded with RZR Pro R, 200 gallons of water, fuel, propone, stuff, food for a week trip I weighed in at 16,800 lbs. for trailer at CAT scale - which is max capacity for the trailer - pin weight was 3,900 lbs. +/- - so my rear axel rating was under duress! Even aluminum trailers get heavy quick with stuff and water! I converted the Curt 5th wheel to a Reese 20k Goosebox on mine and it further enhanced the towing, which was already great. No question ATC makes the best toy haulers (I had a 2419 bumper pull for 2 years prior to moving up to 3619), but they are pin heavy and while you can tow a 3619 with a SRW 1 ton truck - you will be at capacity on rear axel and payload - so dually is really in order for 3619 and for sure for the larger models (4023, 4319 and 4528). Last thing for those looking the "model number" of each ATC - the first two numbers are the length and the 2nd two number are the size of the interior garage!

I've been thinking about one of these for years. YEARS! The southwest is the toy-hauler capital of the world. We have seen a thing or two. And ATC knows what toy hauler people need, other OEMs should take note. *Enough fresh water to fill a lake. (5-7 days at the dunes requires more than 50 gallons of water) *Dual fuel tanks. (ALOT of people are running E-85 or Race fuel for their toys. HUGE waste to run a generator off of that. Not to mention you will be short on fuel during a hot trip) *Grey water tanks that don't fill up after 1 shower. (SUPER BIG annoyance with other brands. The shower will be BY FAR the biggest consumer of grey tank space. Why put 30 gallons under it? And yes, we are forced to travel with full tanks here.) *Triple AC! (Ours only has two 15k AC units, and when we are beat up and it's time for the 2pm nap, the unit will NEVER cool down enough. Our friends who have triple AC are ready to go after a few wobble pops) *Heat in the garage! (I've owned a few toy haulers. Many have zero vents or one afterthought vent out of the way. It does NOT cut it on a chilly night.) *Garage that can fit (and carry) anything *Enough cargo capacity for a small moon *Simplicity all around! (unlike a park model or "camper", Less is more on a toyhauler) *And much more! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A few misses- For the price, I would think they would include a healthy 7KW generator to run the airs. But they don't even include the standard 5.5 that can't run all 3 AC units. The good news is, with the cargo space and capacity, I would pick up one of hobo-freights new 9K inverter generators. They are QUIET. Shower is a bit small looking for a 41 footer. One day I hope to be able to afford one.

I'm pretty excited about the prospect of an all aluminum trailer. This thing is clearly targeted to the part of the market that prioritizes maximizing garage space. Would be great to start thinking about other parts of the market that an all aluminum trailer appeals to. Imagine an Airstream with a garage. Airstreams appeal to me as they have no slide outs to reduce maintenance issues. But, ATC can do one step better and allow me to embrace the future by carrying an electric vehicle. Imagine having the abiilty to carry something like the Arcimoto electric vehicle but still have a great living space with no slides, a ton of solar, no gas station complexity for the toy hauler needed. Arcimotos are 113 inches long and only 61 inches wide. Drop all of the complexity of the toy hauler gas station elements and jack up the solar and battery capacity of this rig and this can be laid out to be a pretty sweet couples trailer. This would appeal to many people who want to minimize their climate footprint and have an easy way to have something smaller than the tow vehicle to explore with. A few things that would make this more ideal for this market would be an insulated door/wall system where the cargo door opening is to improve the livability/usability of this interior space for full time livers like many toy haulers offer. We'd want to use the cargo door as a balcony space and that system I see in the brochure doesn't look appealing to a full timer. In the living area, all we need is a couch/pair of theater seats facing an entertainment setup and as good of a kitchen as you can fit and a good bedroom up front. We would then setup the dining area and office in the garage - would be best to have an insulated wall between the garage and the rest of the RV. On this model, I like that they offset the bathroom sink but ATC should take advantage of that by having some drawers. If you budget a smidge over 10 feet for the garage, a thoughtful layout through the remaining 30 feet would be interesting.

this is what i would want from a 5th wheel toy hauler. or super close cause i would want another bath if possible. and wood cabinet doors wouldnt bother me because if they was to get damaged later on those can be swapped out easy enough. the composite ones are fine though. i really like the garage space and the no slides even though they do open the RV up more. i wouldnt want the fuel tanks either. that is just my preference. ohh i really like the garage floor and track system. plus the removeable "rugs"/mats . good vid you are almost to 200k subs grats

Im at about 9 minutes and im wondering if you could fit a race car in this bad boy? The length seems to be there but what about the width with those fold up seats? Will it fit an average sized race car like a mustang? This would be awesome if you travel cross country with a race car and team. Everything on the inside is pretty durable with the aluminum construction so it should be mechanic certified. It may not be the cozy wood/farmhouse decor and carpet but it is purpose built to last when you work hard and play harder. It just seems built to be fulltime and last forever or darn close to it!!

I'm presently restoring a 1998 Sunline Solaris of which the entire rear section rotted out from failed plumbing vent boots. The trailer came from Western NYS so picture snow and rain flowing onto the ceiling The entire bathroom needed gutting. Do they also have a model with a side porch too? Like the triple wheel. Come with a generator?

I've not seen one with a patio but I won't claim to know everything about these. I think a generator is an available option but as you saw in this they're not standard.. oddly

Ive done the research. A lot. It is the best built toy hauler on the market. You pay for it but its worth it. Resale is excellent. Its going to outlast you. Aluminum roof doesn't need any maintenance.

I'd load the back of that with a 18 ft aluminum bass boat and be gone. Wow, that would be sweet.

Cool...how about the construction of the frame, axles, and roof? Industry standard or superior to that?
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
They're not using an industry standard chassis, no. The roof interestingly isn't traditionally walkable -- no real decking. It's basically like a horse trailer in that regard. It's a full metal roof with very VERY little upkeep required.

I’ve seen some of 19 FDS. I’m looking to see the return of the low profile ac, maybe with a soft start option. The HVAC on a digital thermostat. A 2inch receiver on the rear. Also solar pkg. options. You know, not much, just everything!! LOL Thanks Dave 👍🌴👍

Hey Josh, I’ve admired these ATC’s for awhile now. I’ve wondered about insulation and sound deadening. Any info on that?
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
I have so little experience with them that I don't feel well qualified to weigh in on those topics for you. Apologies Joan. I would recommend speaking with our team at or Junction City, Oregon store where this was recorded. They should have better insights for you on that.

ATC is the "Transformers" of RVs... Its a garage It is a heavy duty enclosed hauler It is a Travel/5th Wheel Trailer It is Built like a tank It may not save the world but it sure will protect your hide and your toys and is about as close to a true lifetime RV that money can buy

The roof is one complete roll of aluminum. The ATC website has build videos. We painted our aluminum roof with Henry 's tropicool to eliminate heat build up. FB has two ATC user groups. You can see all the pros and the cons of these rigs. I would buy another one. We have a 2016 28' trailer. Pulls like a dream. Good bones on these trailers. 3rd party appliances are still RV quality. Biggest plus is no wood rot or mildew issues.
