I love the idea that humans never made it to trechary before Hell invaded the Surface, but your fight with Geryon was so powerful you broke into the final layer by accident. So without anyone previously being there with an elevator, your stuck at the bottom of hell with no way back up. Btw i would love an extended version of the piano at the first 25 seconds of the song, Its peak.
