今作は怪獣の見せ方が秀逸すぎるな。ゲバルガが出てきた時、一瞬で「これは手強いやつだ」って分かった。市民を守る軍人視点の物語だから、怪獣はあくまでも天変地異と同じく禍々しい存在なんだな。

ガラモンの回やデマーガの回みたら、コスモスん時みたく単にやっつけるのではなくどうやっつけるか？どう共存するか？主人公が悩んでる描写に考えさせられますね。視聴者の子供相手に善悪の区別をつかせるのも良い作品です。ただ、ガラモンの回でのガラモンがブレーザーの顔面を蹴ってるかの描写と機能停止時の液体をブレーザーにかけるシーンはダメでしたが。あの回は越監督メインでも神回やったけど、ピグモンやガラモンを愛する田口監督か辻本監督メインでやって欲しかったわ。東儀親子が出演してたかはわからないけどね。

ゲント隊長はゲバルガの電磁波攻撃を予測してアースガロンを離脱させたのだから、ゲバルガの電磁波能力にブレーザーが対抗できないと判断して離脱を促したのもゲント隊長だと見るのが自然です。 今回注目するべき点は「何故ブレーザーはレインボー光輪を使おうとしなかったか」です。レインボー光輪も電磁バリアで防がれていた可能性が高いですが、少なくとも１度防がれてしまっているスパイラルバレードよりはマシです。ブレイザーは何故スパイラルバレードに拘ったのか…？　ピョンピョン跳ねたのもバザンガ以来だし、宇宙怪獣に対して何か拘りがあるのだと思えます。

@@9tubebaby いいえ、ドラマの流れとしても芝居としてもゲント本人ですし、ディティールとしてもゲント隊長の目が青くなっていない（「前回赤ちゃんの出る番組を見ていた時」は目が青くなっていた）のでゲント本人であることは明らかです。 　「ゲント隊長の顔にブレーザーがオーバーラップ」はミスリードとも取れますが、ブレーザーに変身した状態のゲントは「もう一人のブレーザー」でもあり、ゲント隊長がブレーザーの左腕をコントロールして（ゲント隊長は左利き、ブレーザーは右利き）ブレーザー本人に離脱を指示していることを示していると取れば、普通に合っています。

@@miyamiyakumakuma2551 前回の話の流れを考えると邪魔をしているのはブレーザーです。前回、怪獣親子を倒すのを軍の攻撃を妨害してまで守り、封印という手段に出たのを息子に『今までで一番カッコいい』と言われて困惑しています。 さらに前の回、ゲント隊長は恩師に銃を向けてでも市民を守るべし、と述べています。怪獣親子を守ったのがゲントの意志なら、このセリフとも矛盾し、赤ん坊を見て何らかの感情が沸いたブレーザーという演出とも矛盾します。今回の妨害がゲントなら、あのオーバーラップは無意味な演出です。 むしろ、利き腕がミスリードだと思います。前回『は』仮にブレーザーが親子を守ったのであれば、その時妨害した手はどちらだったでしょう？私もうろ覚えなので…

I love how they’re portraying the conflict between Gento and Blazar! Gento not willing to back down because he wants to end a threat as quickly as possible to protect everyone however none of their attacks are working and while Blazar wanting to retreat to come up with a better solution is a good idea it also leaves a dangerous monster to run around freely. Both aren’t wrong and have clear pro and cons to their actions! Good job! Good writing! Oh and it’s been cleared up that in these situations Gento is the right side while Blazar is the left side of the body. Hence why in human form his left eye glows blue and in Ultra form the left side also starts glowing.

I'm now questioning who saved the Kaiju last week. When Gento says "I'm counting on you" it implies that Blazar made the choice to save them and now Blazar clearly left this fight. Did Gento's kid affect him to the degree that he doesn't want to kill anything? Love the mystery.

Blazar isn't a protector, he's a hunter. He doesn't understand why Gento is like this, and neither can Gento understand why Blazar won't fight till the end. Blazar doesn't *have* anyone or anything to protect here, Gento does. Blazar is just trying to survive. Always was. I remarked last episode that it confirmed to me that Blazar is a man who is alone and it's really showing that he doesn't understand this whole concept of protecting in quite the same way as Gento.

Gebalga's design reminded me of Alien Iyros from ep13 of Ultraseven

Not to mention. Gebalga design isn't just awesomely good. It's creative like how it can make a jaw entirely from It's own hands. Ultraman Blazar's been a real treat lately. I love Gebalga's design a lot, it looks both goofy and menacing. I don't really know what to think about Blazar's warning to Gento in the fight, was he communicating with him by repeating what Gento said to Anri or does it means that it was already Blazar who acted while possessing Gento inside Earth Garon? Either way, this episode was fantastic, and I can't wait to see the situation evolve in part 2 next week! edit: I wanted to add that I love the narrative frame of Blazar and Gento trying to communicate and understand each other, the conflicts between the two is very entertaining and I will watch with attention what the outcome of this story will be.

It's a very good episode. -Kaiju are realistically made and look very beautiful. - Gento and Blasar are still conflicting, part 2. Still making it interesting to follow. - Better progress of the story that started to get complicated. -Wait to watch Blazar's new weapons. Overall, this episode is still very fun.

ゲントが自分の中に宿るブレーザーの存在に悩み、どうしたらいいのかわからない気持ちが凄く伝わってくる回でしたし、 ゲバルガの地球の兵器やアースガロン、そしてスパイラルバレードを無力化する力を見ていて、脅威感と危機感が溢れる回だと思いました。 同時に、10話、11話を見ていて、ウルトラマンブレーザーのテーマである「コミュニケーション」が重要になってきているのかなぁと感じました。

Well, the only reason why they keep bringing back past kaiju (or specifically, reusing many past kaiju) is because Tsupro didn't get enough budget to make new kaiju suit. Bandai and FIELDS (Tsupro's current parent companies) don't give them enough budget. But for Ultraman Blazar, it seems like they have enough budget which is probably due to Ultraman increasing profits over the years or Director Taguchi and the staff making plans trying to convince Tsupro's parent companies so they will get enough budget.

@@Villagerwarrior I heard it's because they didn't give Blazar alternate suits beside his "base form", so there was enough budget for the kaiju suits this time around. Apparently the show was going to be a Tiga/Trigger deal for Dyna or Gaia, but the director felt their budget wouldn't do that kind of idea justice, so they went for a new Ultra, and this is what we got. Don't know which is the real story, but hey, I'm digging Blazar evolving his powers at a less neck-breaking pace instead of getting a new form per episode for the sake of toys and the story is interesting, so I'm not complaining.

the way Gento unconsciously asking that question to Anri, poor him 😢I know that he will overcome it eventually but still ..., I guess this is his helpless situation and I love it. Guess we really need another Ultra to comfort him lol 🤣and the first Ultraman that came to my mind was Z and Haruki lmao 😂 I also love Blazar's judgement, it's incredibly smart. I think Blazar was the one who threw the first Spiral Burrade cause probably he want to see if his technique could work to Gebalga. that's why he stopped the second one because it's useless against it. Man, Blazar is too smart.

今回止めたのは「殺すな」ってことじゃなしに「引き際をわきまえろ」ってことだと思う。現に直前でアンリにも「ヤバい攻撃がくるから逃げろ」って言ってるわけだし。 しかしそうなるとブレーザーさんの「狩人としての流儀」で「防衛隊の一員として体を張って戦い抜きたい」であろうゲント隊長は葛藤することになりそう。

今までの様子からして、ブレーザーは光線技自体の燃費は良いんだな。バレードが役に立たなくてもすぐ光輪出して対応。必殺技を連続で出してもタイマーは点滅しないし点滅済みだとしてもそのペースは変化無し。それを知ってか知らずか、ゲントもバレード二本目を駄目元で撃とうとした。MP効率は良いんだからそれ自体はわからなくもない。 ブレーザーは「受けたダメージや負荷」によって活動時間が減っていく単純なHP制なんだな。今まではHP＋MP制ウルトラマンが多いと思ってたけど。 それでHPが危険域に入ってなお、ろくに弱点を見出せないまま、一度無力化されたバレードで戦い続けようとしたゲントに待ったをかけ〝エスケープ〟を選んだブレーザー・・・と思ってる。 ニジカガチ戦同様、ゲントの身を案じたのだろうか？ブレーザー自身はゲントに寄り添ったり、ストーン光らせて応えたりしてるし、やっぱゲント可愛さで逃げの一手かｗｗｗ

Ok, I think it’s confirmed that right side is Gento, left side is Blazar. Gento wanting to kill Gebalga quickly to stop the damages, while Blazar is telling him they need to retreat, since their attacks are not working, like “we have to kill that Kaiju right now!” “No, our attacks are not working! We must retreat!”. Love the sort of conflict they’re having right now

Yeah I do see that and I understand them both and both of them are right Gento : we have to beat it now even if it has only slim chance of succeed because if we don't then kaiju can roaming free doing anything they want(and let be real there will be a lot of casualty between the time when kaiju is raming free. Blazar : no we have no way to win now we need to retreat to find some other plan to deal with it also if we are both dead then that will be even worse

ブレーザーがゲント隊長と緊急的に同化させただけで実際にちゃんと同化してなくて意思疎通もしっかりできない状態だったりするのかもしれない。 赤いラインがブレーザーでゲント隊長が青、 右半身がゲント隊長主導で 左半身がブレーザー主導 というのが観察して判明したことらしい。

特撮ドラマはキャラ描写が好物ですが、宇宙から得体知れぬものが来た際の作戦行動描写もたまりません。第一話以来でしょうか。指揮場面あり、アースガロンの運用ありと第一話と見え方こそ違えど。よくわからないウルトラマンの図は第一話同様。ヒーローの心強さも作戦も、意外にあっけなくゼロに回帰するものだと、怪獣映画の中盤のようなテンションでいます😮

Some thoughts: It's honestly kind of concerning how Gento seems distanced from their team, despite being their captain. It's such a stark contrast from how he was in episode 2, that I really think we'll probably see some kind of conflict arise within SKaRD soon, where the team confronts Gento for seemingly neglecting his captain duties 5:50 hey that's the staircase from the D4 episode of Ultraman Z So we get to see other GGF brass in this episode, and it kind of provides a glimpse into the pressure Retsu himself is facing. Perhaps last episode was misdirection, and Retsu is genuinely a good guy weighed down by the duties of commanding 10:41 tbh the way he lands after slowing down is way scarier than if he just hit the ground like a normal meteor Gebalga walks a fine line between ridiculous and menacing, and pulls it off perfectly. He really feels like a Saucer Beast, although he seems to be more based on Gibaaroga from Joneus. That being said, it's kind of cute how his meteor form is just him sitting down like an Acguy. 20:04 Blazar has returned to full monke, and I love it. Love how he's fighting much more aggressively too, almost back to ep 1 levels of unga bunga. Seems like either he really lets loose against space kaiju, or it's a sign his bond with Gento is weakening 23:51 so that was Blazar talking? That explains a lot, but also raises further questions If we're going by the red veins being Blazar's will, then Blazar is really smart. He takes over the moment Gebalga tries to use the rolling attack he got hit with before, and discourages Gento from throwing the Spiral Burrade again after it didn't work. It seems like Blazar wants to protect Gento, but Gento wants to risk his life to protect many, which is where the conflict is So are we gonna ignore that Anri's still trapped inside the Earth Garon, slowly sinking in the lake? And come to think of it, there's no way Gento can logically explain how he got out of the Earth Garon's cockpit. Does this mean we're getting the identity reveal next week? Next week we get the debut of the Chilsonite Sword, which fits Blazar way more than expected. Can't wait to see how things go

Gebalga had just proved itself in the most explosive way that it can't be dealt with by conventional means because of his bio-electro-magnetism that allows it to create a powerful emp that disrupts all machinery making CQC with Earth Garon impossible along with guided missile volleys being a no go. On top of that, his electromagnetic shield absorbs energy based projectiles which sadly is the only thing Blazar has that can kill. If there were any doubts on the last episode, it was indeed Blazar who stopped Gento from killing the Mother Demaaga which undoubtedly put his ally status among GGF and SKARD into question and while both of them were on accord to escape from the EM Burst Gebalga was generating, Blazar's survival skills kicked in after realizing it absorbs energy based weaponry. Blazar forced Gento out of the fight seeing they can't use energy weapons against it and that they don't currently have a means to fight it and continuing was suicide. On that night, Gebalga headed towards a satellite station and unleashed its' EM Burst. With the satellite, it amplified its' EM Burst and blacking out everything in a city wide scale.

@@formalcat9526 Last time Blazar fought Nijjkagachi initially, he bailed out immediately when he was about to be hit by its' rainbow death beam which indicate his high survival instincts and that he had trained himself to know when to retreat when up against a foe that could not be bested by current means. Gento would not run from kaijus like that and he was willing to do what is necessary to protect the lives of people but Blazar already seeing it's suicidal to continue fighting a foe they currently don't have the means to fight against forced Gento out so they can figure a different way to slay it.

This proves that in the last episode the one taking over wasn't Gento wanting to protect the parent and child but Blazar instead because in this episode we see Blazar consistently wanting to escape the threat and during the Ultraman fight we see that only the left hand was against fighting and wants to escape, and after the fact Gento remembers to when he tells Anri to escape and he realizes that Blazar took over then which means he realizes the person who wanted to escape was Blazar, this is just more proof because in terms of character Blazar was more of the "Solution" compared to Gento's "Protect" While Gento will never back down until everyone was saved Blazar chooses to flee and save himself to fight for another day while at the same time finding the proper solution to the problem

おそらく、 シン・ウルトラマン の リピア のような存在なんだと思う。 終始 異文明の宇宙人 (怪獣と闘う狩人:公式設定) ってイメージだから、 かなり野生児とか蛮族とかってテキトーなこと言われてるのを間に受けて まったくなにも考えていないような.. 勝手なイメージで色んなことを判断してる連中がおおいから、わかりづらくなってんじゃないかな？ どう考えても、シン・ウルトラマン観ての影響をかんじるし 監督やスタッフも作風も。 ちゃんと原点回帰したウルトラマンで、もう本当安心する。 目が覚めたというか、目覚めたんだろうな監督たち。

ブレーザーは着実に人間が命を大切にすることをゲント隊長から学んでいってるんだろうけど、ゲント隊長は自分の命の優先順位が低い感じがした。ゲント隊長は「ここで引いたら街への被害が甚大なものになるから引けない」って感じだけど、ブレーザーは「勝てるわけないからいったん逃げるぞ！お前の命は大事なものだろ！」って感じで嚙み合ってなさそう
