Always a bit refreshing to see a unique design on the week's Kaiju - as in not humanoid/bipedal for once - Bestial Types always welcome - but makes wonder if the Vira inspired the design of the Facehuggers from the Alien movies. I mean, Ultraseven is from 1967-68 where as the first Alien debuted in 1979.

Well, they both appear to be arthropod-based, with Vira being more like a type of lobster - an ibacus, to be exact - while the Facehuggers go more into the arachnid territory.

Weird... After Furuhashi entered the professor's room, we cut to Dan driving him and asking himself why he did call him an alien. Sounds like a scene that was cut for time? Also, how did Dan explained his cell being torn apart? lol

Alien Vira does remind me of Facehugger from Xenomorph franchise 😃. Nice try Alien Vira, however you not match with Ultra Seven at all ☺️. I always like Ultra Seven use his iconic move, throw his Eye Slugger to enemy like Alien Vira 😁. Keep forward, Ultra Seven and Ultra Guard members 😊!

Good episode but the ultra guard should have apologized to Dan because he was unfairly framed also how did they that viras mind controlled prosfessor yeah they the invasion happened but a little bit more clarity would be nice.
