Hi dr emily I need to ask your opinion about a baby 6 months old now He is born with a sacral dimple Is it too late to do us for the spine now? And what are signs on his back that could be suspicious for any spinal deformity plz?

If there is any weakness in his lower limbs "he doesnt move his limbs well "or sensory deficit which might be difficult to appreciate in this young age , severe constipation since birth

And if there is a hair tuft ,hemanngioma or any other impressive lesion on his lower back , but many dimples can be benign ,it is better if you visit a pediatrician and get checked closely , I wish your little baby good health
