I totally agree with you, on the feel and the look of the sunscreen. And because of that and have a hate and love realasonship with it. Because ultrasun has extremely good filters. It's a hardcore sunscreen. And for someone fighting melasma and pigmentation this is gold. Even though it feels shitty.

omg i'm so glad you get it. i couldn't quite explain what the feeling of it was like hahaha. same, i have such a love hate relationship with it too. i've worn it a couple of times since filming, but only under makeup as i can hide the cast with foundation. i reeeeally wanted to love this sunscreen after hearing such good stuff about the brand but this one just didn't quite hit. that being said, i'm currently using a different ultrasun sunscreen which i think is sooo much better

It contains Tinosorb M and Titanium Dioxide, these two filters leave a whitecast. Basically anything with Tinosorb M, Tinosorb A2B, Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide will leave a cast if it's untinted. Have you tried the Tinted Honey version? That one works on my skin tone.

thank you for sharing! i had no idea about those filters, so at least now i know what to look out for when i'm reading sunscreen ingredients 🤗🤗 ooh, no i haven't tried the tinted version. i'll have to add that to my sunscreen shopping list. for some reason i'm desperate to like ultrasun, so i'll keep trying out their products until something works 😂😂😂

LADIES N GENTLEMEN HAVE YOU HEARD OF EVY SPF50 (check out the children's one) its transparent and LEAVES NO WHITE CAST, if you still prefer a physical spf try DRV Rattan spf50 Inzincable. The best way to apply this one is first Moisturise, Wait a few minutes, dot the Inzincable around the face, you need 1 quarter tea spoon and work it into the skin, both are amazing for sensetive skin. I was having so much trouble over the years looking for the perfect spf FOUND EM! :)

Omg I’ve just had the same experience as you and at the beginning I thought I applied it the wrong way and I tried it different ways but still not looking good on me 😂 I’m so disappointed cause everyone is saying it’s the best sunscreen ever but it’s not working for me, it’s like my skin doesn’t absorb it. No matter what skin color you have it’s not invisible, it’s sticky and greasy. What a waist of money 😢 I cannot say I don’t recommend it because it’s working so well with other people (my mum and my friends are using it and they are in love with it) but you should try it on your face before purchasing it.

I bought the supersized version from QVC for the anti pigmentation qualities but found I looked like the Tin Man ie blue/silver metallic. I persevered with it for years but finally used it up in Jamaica this February on my body as it’s expensive and didn’t want to waste it. Not the best looking sunscreen I probably wouldn’t buy it again on that basis. Maybe I should have returned it but with menopause pigmentation skin I looked past the fact it was thick, white and hard to rub in. Apparently they do a tinted one one QVC. I wish I’d seen your video before purchasing.

Hi! I tried the image skincare daily matte moisturizer spf 32 and it’s REALLY good! I’m a mac NW50 and it’s one of the best mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. It has 9% zinc. It will make you blue for the first 5 seconds but after you rub it in it’s perfect!! Best regards from Sweden.

Omg!!! the white caste(blue caste)...To think I almost got this sunscreen 😆😆😆...I don't wear make up,so it is a no no for me😆😅 I am indeed speechless By the time you reapply,that will be more ashy You can just wear it when you are home and not going anywhere so your money don't go to waste...

hahahahah the cast is so bad you have to laugh 😂😂😂😂 i'm glad you never bought the sunscreen otherwise that would've been a big waste of money. i didn't even bother reapplying this sunscreen -- i ended up using a different one. yes that's a good idea! i think i'll use it for days when i'm staying indoors and maybe as a body sunscreen

Plus you have to apply this first, before any other skincare. Weird I know 😂 but it’s the technology of the sunscreen apparently. Now that part I still can’t get used to 😂😂

omg yes! that's exactly it. it felt like spreading pva glue -- it was so stiff and uncomfortable. i think it could just be this ultrasun sunscreen because i tried another sunscreen of theirs and i had a much easier time applying 🤗🤗🤗

I use this but in the 30 and I love it. The 50 was too greasy for me and harder to apply. The 30 goes on my skin likes thin lotion and tbh there’s not too much difference between 30 and 50 in terms of protection, I think it’s something like 1% more with the 50. I love the fact it lasts all day without reapplying so I can go about my day. I’ve tested this theory many times and never once burned with just one application. The sport 20 is really good too which I use on my arms, legs and again. I’ve never burned. Been using ultra sun for years. I agree with this review though about the 50. I never got along with that one.

ah okay, so i'm seeing i need to try a lower spf. the next time i see an offer on the lower spf, i'll check it out (even though i am a bit scarred from my past experience 😂😂), because i really wanted this sunscreen to work for me

Why dont you use a chemical block instead? This one is physical block and that cast is absolutly normal (violet / blue cast is your shield). If a physical block does not give you the cast throw it away!

i typically do use chemical sunscreens, but because i like to try and test out different types of sunscreens for this channel (and because i'm nosey hahaha), sometimes i end up using physical sunscreens. also, i'd been curious about this particular sunscreen, so that's why i tried it out

I jus bought this after my aunt recommended. She advised only using a tiny drop on 1 finger. Dotting the forehead n cheeks then rubbing in... Leaving it for 15mins b4 Applying ur moistuizer ❤
