It's not just the handlebar, there were many things that got changed, the suspension length is increased, an additional windbreaker piece is added in the space between handlebar and the headlamp, and the display screen angle is also changed. Those were some physical changes, which couldn't be incorporated into the same model.

This new handlebar has resulted in some other physical changes as well such as the weight distribution and how the TFT display is angled etc. Wouldn’t it be better for customers to have different variations of the same model to choose from?
