The bar has been well & truly set. Mecha G is absolutely amazing. All the bells & whistles are perfect. They crammed everything into this guy & It's going to be an interesting year to see if anyone can top him. He looked great against your new black ground too. The red “light” on his chest is only paint, done well. The left arm hand gimmick doesn’t work on my copy either. Where’s the brain? So easy to do a little light piped piece perhaps, but missing. I think the tail swapping for flight mode is poor, and where’s the stand to display it? Are the teeth lit or not? I can’t tell.

@DaraM73 The brain was in the second movie, so I wouldn't have expected it here. Why is the tail swapping poor? Works fine. I don't think the teeth are supposed to light up. I don't think a flight stand was feasible either.

@ Fair point, but I miss the brain! The tail should be one piece and just articulated, which would help it stand up too.

So from what I am gathering from the review, you're telling us that it's just kinda eh and basically just an okay piece? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Just kidding my friend. It truly is a very impressive piece to have in your collection. The detail and sculpt is awesome, the paint is amazing. All the sounds are just mind-blowing, I can't believe they put so many different sound effects in one figure. And the eyes the way they light up on red, yellow and then multi colored beam ones that is just one of the coolest things ever. I love how they did that with the head articulation so that you can turn the head and not have to worry about snapping wires off or anything, that is totally ingenious the way they did it and they work so good. This Mechagodzilla is Freaking Awesome!!! The only thing they could have done to make it any better is if it actually walked and moved. I know Mechagodzilla is Space Titanium, but I think this one for sure takes the Gold. 🏅🏅🏅🏅 He may be the first review of the year here on day 4 of 2025, but I agree it is going to have be something totally out of this world to beat this figure out of First Place on January 1st 2026. Truly a Work of Art in the Toy Collection. 🙂👍👍👍👍 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

“Rust look” but even earth titanium is roos/corrosion resistant, toho and Bandai failed 🤓

I think, from experience, the rust and blue tones are meant to represent cooled metal after heating?
