Liking this piece at this age, she's cute , intensly into it, and as others have said,, the orchestra members are like loving this little one's playing, that's the best part of her playing, she gets you into what is going on and can't believe how it's being done at this age.. just beyond this universe .

True but you must realize this Chopin contest took place in Hartford Connecticut, not the Chopin contest out of Poland and at that time, as I recall, the contest was only 2 or 3 years old.

Which Liszt composition is this???? Scratch that. I have since learned that she is playing "Gnomereigen" (Dance of the Gnomes), the second work in Liszt's "Two Concert Etudes, S.145."

NO, she isn't, her father is American and her mother is Japanese. And they are not musicians, so it is amazing how she has such musical genius. Watch her performance playing Bethoveen Moonlight Sonata, (THird Movement) when she was 14 years old, she plays it in excellent way.
