Just received one over the air it appears to have fix the sound issues going see what happens over the next 48 hours. For now I have allowed the screen to sleep and when opening up I have not had the sound muted at all

Just got my Power 3. No sound out of the speaker. Bluetooth works, though. At least I found a service department. Lets see how they respond. Also, just noticed that Data is set on 3G. ***UPDATE*** All of a sudden, 4 hours later, the sound started working. I hope it stays that way. BTW, LOVE the green color. **UPDATE #2"" Sound cut off again. **UPDATE #3** Just got a response from the Umidigi forum. It said the sound prob us connected to Google Assistant. Turn off the "Ok Google" option and it should work. Working so far.

Eventually received my Umidigi Power 3, after almost 3 months waiting.... The wait was eventually worth it's weight in Umidigi gold.... It's indeed, possibly Umidigi's best device(yet).

Very fragile screen. Drop it once it's, cracked it. Don't use while charging, heats up. There's a bug when your using headset, when you remove it the speaker seems to be on mute. You need to reconnect the headset then removed it again. If it in youtube, pause it first before removing the headset. Overall I like the phone.

Had the same issue, audio would mute on and off. Found a solution though. Go into your settings, go to apps find Google and disable it. My phone has been going two days now with no audio issues

@@ivanbaez2661regarding with the bug ive done some further and there was a solution for it, forgot how exactly but from what i remember it was disabling a google app or something. But they released an update for the bug, don't know if it helped because from the previous solution I followed. Performance wise for my standards its ok with me. Dont have heavy apps except mobile legends

theres a way to fix the audio quality from the speaker. i dont know why but if disable the google app it will fix the audio issue. many have done this and it fixed it for them so its a software issue not hardware. ordered my power 3 and it will arrive on tuesday. was $200 but had a 25% off coupon code so i only had to pay $160 on amazon. i have a request can you test this phone out with damonps2 and ppsspp please?

It's so beautiful! Had my first umidigi which was the f1 when it was first released but I returned as software and camera were terrible. BUT, I'm loving this phone, specs, camera, and design are very beautiful. I'll be ordering this soon 😁

Hi, I have received my Umidigi Power 3 and after making a suggested update for Android 10, I had no sound at all. Luckily, I have found a solution, I just disabled GOOGLE SOUND and everything works perfect. After that, I reactivated GOOGLE SOUND and everything is perfectly working. I hope this can help someone. By the way, I am very pleased with my Umidigi Power 3.

Extended battery at the cost of being bulkier and having longer recharge time. Video does not look impressive and the camera's software needs a lot of improvement that will never come.Too bad there where no night photos or video in your otherwise excellent review. Small suggestion here-maybe another song in the background will help your channel a lot.

I have the same phone but LED notification not working . Maybe this model doesn't support LED indicator ? . In my old phone , when i have a missed call , LED indicator flashes blue , when the battery is fully charged LED indicator lights green . In UMIDIGI Power 3 there is NO green , blue and red LED notification . Do you have any explanation for this problem ?

I have the Umidigi F1. I bought it more than 6 months ago,the Helio P60 combined with 4 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of storage makes it really nice and decent for gaming. I get a score on antutu benchmark of 170.000 the most. For playing Call of Duty mobile believe me this Umidigi F1 has a really powerful processor. I love my Umidigi F1. Many years ago I spent $700 on a galaxy note 5 and this Umidigi Make me realize that I don't need to spend crazy money to have a good cellphone.

@@itsdeccy the F2 is maybe 10% faster than the Power 3 with more RAM, more storage but from TechUtopia's reviews of both, has slightly worse cameras and about 20% lower battery life. If you care more about performance than battery or camera I would get the F2. Or, better, the Xiaomi Note 8 Pro if you can spend just a little more.

Just been reading some forums and Reddit on the Umidigi Power 3...and some users are complaining that the phone mutes itself when it goes into sleep mode. So ringtones and notifications don't work when the screen turns off. @Techutopia have you come across this problem? Apparently dialling a number or rebooting cures it, but it happens again.

@@techutopiareviews Thanks. Others say the device sound cuts completely - not just for a minute - when the phone sleeps. Pretty serious fault because you'll get no sound notifications or call tones. They say the only way to get sound back is to reboot or make a call. But the bug returns next time the phone sleeps. Hopefully, it's a software fault that can be cured with an update.

Cannot recommend this phone at this time as I received mine and after the system update the sound keeps cutting off. For now the only work around I found is disabling the Google assistant. It is a frustrating problem for otherwise a good phone. Hopefully there will be a fix

Build quality is at parity. F2 definitely feels more premium though. You need to use a phone case to protect them either way, so the exterior design is kind of wasted.

Probably just your provider. GPS side of things, try this... play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2 Install this. Then allow access to whatever it asks, and download any dependencies it asks for (app modules). Set GPS source to fused. Calibrate compass and pitch & roll. A-gps data to help location fixing should happen automatically. Should solve your issues. Also try deleting app cache for all GPS software e.g Waze, Google maps Restart phone after you're done.
