Hi! I printed the camera holder and I just found out that there is no hole in the back to plug the power cable on to the Betafpv bec. Can you please make a small hole in the back of the camera mount or for some reason you don't advice using the Betafpv plug? Thanks

Hi, the fpv cam mount was designed for the cadxx ant, and if i place my runcam nano 2 it touches the frame. That is just my feed back. But nice design, i have micro vibrations on my 95x this will eliminate it.

Try and flip over the TPU dampeners. That will raise the clean plate a few mm.

Just finished a Mob7 HD w/o HD it was the 8 motor supplied kit with new frame. What is a good pusher prop for upside down mod in 40mm? Waiting for an insta 360 to be stripped down..... :)

How do you power the GoPro? Doesn’t the BEC board have a power plug in the back that your mount is blocking?

You can use warp stabilizer in Adobe Premiere or the equivalent effect in Davinci Resolve if you want a free video editor.

You had me at dental floss! I am currently collecting info on how to get that build done, but hesitant on the BetaFPV V.1 BEC board. There are so many different posts on the Naked GP fb group and all are kind of all over the place. Is there a guide on how to solder/connect the BEC board and the GP6 properly. Don't want to short/fry anything. Thanks in advance!

I think a lot of people are doing something wrong or they have some problem with their GoPro main board that has nothing to do with the BEC board. I have two of these and they both work just fine. It should be noted that the connectors (two of them) are difficult to line up. If they are slightly off, and you press down too hard, you can break the connector at the board. I think that is what is going on. The connector breaks and then it gets shorted and frys. If you take your time and line up the connectors properly, it should work assuming nothing else is wrong with your GoPro. I did another one of these conversions after my videos and it didn't work but the GoPro I got was a badly crashed one that wouldn't power on from battery or USB so I was hoping it would work but I was not so lucky. It was dead from the start.

Not really. This one uses a swappable camera system and different vibration dampening. What you're saying is "XYZ quad that's inverted is just an Umma95" which is not true at all.

If you're a beginner, or are like me, and crash often, I wouldn't be buying a Gopro and making a naked one. By the looks of them, one crash, and not that hard of one, and it'll be toast! And you might just F it up just taking it apart! Argh! 😵 Certainly an advanced flying skill level mod, IMO. Oh, unless you have a tree in your back yard that grow $ money $🎄💵💰🌲🙄

Yeah, this kind of project is not suited for beginners. However, I've crashed my Naked GoPro a lot and this case seems to protect it well enough. It's still working. Keep in mind, the overall mass of the drone/battery/camera is well under 200g so even in a crash, the chance for damage is less. Put a naked GoPro on a heavier quad like a 5-inch and it will probably break. However, why would anyone put this on a heavy quad. That would be pointless.
