UMS 210cc Sternmotor Radial Engine 5 Zylinder in einer F4F-4 Wildcat

Erster Testlauf meiner neuen F4F-4 Wildcat mit dem UMS 210cc Sternmotor.
Absolut toller Motorlauf. Jetzt noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten an der Maschine anpassen (Cockpit Ausbau, Lackierung usw.) und dann geht´s auf zum Erstflug.

Der Dicke würde mit fliegen wollen und hätte es gleich gekauft. 😂 Der trieb sich öfter hier in Bad Wildungen und am Edersee rum, dort hatte der 3 Jagdhäuser.

The scale from the Wildcat is 1/4 and the prop is a Varioprop from Ramoser with 29,6“.

Yes, I have installed baffles, also on the 125cc Corsair. I can't say anything about the temperature yet because unfortunately we are in the depths of winter and won't be able to fly again until spring.

@PeterOZ61 Your welcome! 👋 Baffles are definitely recommended for cooling. T-28 is also a great machine, we have a real one here that flies over my house every week 👍

@@ETlife. there are a few T-28s here in oz as well. Do you have a file for the baffle or just cut out by hand? I was able to get a .dxf file for my Saito FG90R3 which saved a lot of work and made a very nice fit.
