UMX Turbo Timber Evolution|Taking the Abuse!!!!!!

I have been DYING to fly this thing since it came out. ‪@horizonhobby‬ NAILED this aircraft! This was a solid 7min hard flight on a 3s 300mah battery from ‪@SpektrumRCvideos‬ . The aircraft is completely stock in this video. This is by far my favorite UMX aircraft to date!

Haha that's the sound of the aluminum hall effect gimbals. that's the sound of me slamming the sticks to the stops haha! I think the only switch i use is a throttle idle/cut at the beginning and end of the flight lol

Nice flying! I bought a couple of Umx turbo timbers not long before this came out as well as a Umx timber x but really wish I knew this was coming out before buying the turbo Timbers! (They’re kinda weak compared to the timber x so reinforced fuselage sounds nice!) dang it! Now I guess I’ll have to buy this plane! And plenty more epoxy!

Hey there! I used the 3s 300mah pack from spektrum and I've been putting it in closer to the rear of the velcro, aftwise. Hope this helps! It would probably do better forward snaps if the cg was more forward but I'm just being critical. It flies amazing!

Nice flying!!! How do you get it to snap- roll so fast? Are you using the differential or did you take out the differential?

Hey there! Thanks! I actually left the ailerons stock, but I moved the linkages on the elevator and rudder in one hole since it uses ball links now! but you can get it to snap pretty fast stock also, its all in the positive g loading! Its a quick transition but it starts with up elevator with the transition into rudder and aileron in the same direction. Its essentially an excellerated stall (or G-stall) transitioning into a snap. It doesnt work without the up elevator. hope this helps!

@@mikeylikesrc Actually I would do left stick top left position and right stick bottom left position. You kind of have to cheat with this plane haha. but for fast aileron rolls I added some rudder mixing in with the ailerons! I also added some separate knife edge mix I think, its been a while. haha

@@tomassimatovic yes, you have obviously put in the hours. I've used realflight with a dongle and my ix12 but haven't had great luck. @@I_am_archie I haven't! He's good on the sticks! I personally prefer USB cable interlink, but the dongle works also. But if you can perfect something in real flight it's easier in real life. Depending on the plane of course.
