If you're a classical music noob you really need to start with Bartok. That way no matter what you listen to afterwards it'll feel simple and obvious. (And for any guitarists here interested in getting into classical music, find Manuel Barrueco's "300 Years of Guitar Masterpieces" and you'll fall in love with classical music.)
