UN Nuclear Watchdog Warns Israel Could Target Iran's Nuclear Facilities in Revenge Attacks
The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency expressed concerns about Israel potentially targeting Iranian nuclear sites, amidst escalating tensions. Iran temporarily closed its nuclear facilities citing security concerns on Sunday. This came after Iran's aerial assault on Israel which involved hundreds of drones and missiles. IAEA inspectors were barred from inspecting Iran's nuclear facilities until the situation stabilised. Meanwhile, China's foreign minister spoke with Iran's counterpart, discussing Iran's recent aerial retaliation following an attack on its embassy in Syria. Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told China's Wang Yi that the United Nations Security Council did not make a necessary response when their embassy site was struck on April 1.

Iran did plan out a Beautiful strategy to test out their capabilities. This should have been dubbed, 'Operation test the Skies'. Israel knew the time, the operation was going to take place, but Iran managed to hit it's targets anyway. It also got to see, how the alliance flank works, when defending Israel. This give it more information on how the alliance would probably attack Iran too, in the future. Now information is what shapes strategies. This is the only reason, Iran is calling it a success. It has nothing to do with sending fire power to Israel and scaring them, symbolically, but everything to do with war maps and strategies. Iran now knows where those flanks are. Just like how the West sacrifices a few ships, so it can pinpoint the Houthis Operations in the Red Sea for air strikes afterwards and getting information of bases.
