@@rsislandcrafts Your way is the best that I've seen on YT. I've folded 36 so far, and probably threw out about 30 because they had holes in them. I will keep and fold all of them that don't have holes. Store plastic bags are going the way of the dinosaur in my state in May.

Glad it was helpful! As an added recycle tip when I folded the bags at my kids house I stored them in an old laundry pod container. It keeps the bags tidy and out of sight. I JUST found this video tutorial. My only suggestion would be to somehow increase the volume of the video. I had my laptop turned up to the max, as well as the YT video volume and still had issues hearing you. I'm not a very savvy online social media person; so, I'm not sure how that is possible to adjust. Thanks for the new way to fold my collection of plastic shopping bags so that they don't take up my fabric plastic bag holders (that were gifted from my 91 yr-old Mom's friends). Also, an AWESOME activity for the times I'm mindlessly watching TV to do something useful as well! God Bless you! Happy Holy Week!! :)

Good video. I have been folding my plastic bags this way for years. Bags with holes or other clean flexible plastic goes into a plastic bag that I don't want to reuse. When that bag is full, I take it to the Walmart to recycle. I learned when I worked there how much packaging plastic and cardboard they recycle. Reduce, reuse, ♻️ .

I go out of my way to avoid having to use plastic bags. I have reuseable bags (and I have "scrap bags" made from scrap quilting fabric + webbing in addition to purchased bags), but sometimes they don't make it back in the car. But this is certainly a great way to manage the volume and eliminate the tangle. I also keep bread bags. They are so handy to reuse as well.
