I disagree with the ending, that solar weather affects just satellites. It’s been know to affect Earth-based communications, then there was the Carrington Event of 1859 in which a strong solar storm directly hit Earth. It was only felt by the resulting overloads on the existing power grid at the time setting different electrical things on fire, including telegraphs. If such an event happened now, I’d imagine it would fry nearly every electronic device on the side facing the sun, instantly throwing half the world back into the dark ages before there were electronics.

I continue to disagree with conventional theory that the sun is a sphere of hydrogen gas. Satellite observation shows that the sun has, beneath its photosphere layers, a semisolid mostly metallic surface. Because of its critical mass, it captures hydrogen gas and sustains fusion. Because of its significant mass, It has a magnetic and gravitational field to keep the planets in their respective orbits. I’m not convinced that a simple ball of gas could do this.

The core itself never moves, the inner core is solid, and does not have the same magnetic changes as the sun since it's made of different material. The flip has different effects.
