If the back connect motherboards can become an actual extension to the ATX standard, with motherboard tray hole size and location specifications, then I'd welcome it. If all of the manufactures are going to do their own thing again, I couldn't possibly care less. I'm not going to sit there for two hours trying to figure out whether or not the specific motherboard I want to buy is compatible with the holes in my case's motherboard tray. They can go stick their proprietary spacing where the sun doesn't shine if that's what it's going to be like, I'm not going to torture myself with that, I've got better things to do.

The bottom of the case is used as a heatsink. The coolest place in a room is the floor. I haven't actually tested the temp of the case bottom compared to floor level room temp, but have touched the case bottom and it is cool.

Big SAME. The Montech HS01 case and the Be Quiet! Lightbase case are the 2 cases that I'm extremely excited for. I hope to see more reviews on the HS01 when it becomes available as i am also slightly concerned not pairing with a back-to-front motherboard might result in some issues

Montech is my fav case to build in, yes there are some slight quality control issues but overall a really good cases to use. the price and looks are the major factor in my choice for them.

I am really liking that silver case, a lot. The front I/O is perfect. Perfect location, and perfect abundance of connections. Do you know if the type-c is a 20GB? .. 2+2? . . at that price, I'm sure it's a 10GB, which is fine. Just curious if you remembered the spec.

I too have never built in a Montech case... but based on those prices, I'm highly considering doing so. The case I have now has incredibly poor airflow, so I'm definitely looking for a good replacement.

You know that you can pause the video, right?! Fastest way, hit the space bar to pause/continue. Missed something? J jumps 10 seconds back, L jumps 10 seconds forward. Need more precision? Pause and use , or . to move frame by frame. Now with this new knowledge, you can pause and look at info as long as you want. And no, this post is not meant in a mean way at all. How long do you expect the video author to pause? We all read at a different speed, how to make it right for everyone? This is why videos are amazing, you can pause them, rewatch them, clip or screenshot info and so on.

@@itay3894 If it was visible anywhere in the video then you can precisely stop the video there. This is why I mentioned the , (comma) and . (dot/period) with which you can navigate the video frame by frame to find the optimal screenshot. How I usually do this is, watch a video and something pops up briefly that I missed or want to spend more time on. So I press K (pause, same as space bar), then press J (10 seconds back), then press K to continue until right before the scene, press K to pause and use . (dot) to move frame by frame to exactly the spot I wanted to see.

Honestly, between the money i spent on braided or custom cables, the lack of mobos & the limitation in case choice, i can't ever see myself using BTF.

I will get in to BTF later when there is more MB choices, along with the Corsair Shift PS it will be real cool but still want to see builds with nice aftermarket cables as well

If the Project Zero cable management was a.) not locked to a brand. and B. Readily available without charging a premium. I would 100% be down for it. If it is tied to only one brand and they charge much more then I would be more hesitant. But also I just bought a NZXT H7 Flow a year ago.. So I don't want to buy another case for another 10 years. Maybe Project Zero will be more readily available.

It's not locked to a brand. BTF main boards are made by multiple manufacturers 🙂

Montech is looking great, im one of the few people that is anti grommet for whatever reason, so value cases always attracted me for that.

If someone comes up with a good BTF main board for X870E then I would be very interested in building with it. This will need a new case and this looks like a very interesting option. Perhaps you could build in one and let us know your thoughts? 🙂🤷‍♂️

i just ordered one of these black XR ones just seeing this video, will make nice upgrade to one of my kids computers. Totalled 63,13€ with delivery, the case by itself was only 59,90€.

IF I were to build a PC right now, I'd for sure be looking at Project Zero as long as the support is there. So far it's looking like companies are supporting it. I'm also very curious how that backwards setup would working during troubleshooting. On first thought it seems being able to easily check connectors from the back might be useful, but I'm not sure if it will be in practise.

Love the chambers for everything, but then they leave the top radiator exposed. Would have been nice if there was a side cover at the top to hide the side of radiator/fans.

Seems similar to something like Silentiumpc /edorfy cases few years ago in value. I bought mine for 60€ including 24% VAT came with 4 ARGB fans, controller and it has decent airflow.

I've built in a couple Montech cases in the last year and it didn't really live up to the hype, imo. I mean, the cases were fine and you DO get a lot for your money, i guess. The chassis itself on them felt much like other budget cases i've worked with but the disappointment was more due to the massive hype, not because of the products, seems like pretty good value. These new ones look pretty nice, though.

To me the cases with the BTF option looks cheap, they don't include gromits and it takes away alot from the estetics.

Montech case i have is great. The fans leak oil however. Not all of them, but still. Also, that was 6 years ago. Fans may have changed by now.

they use sh*t fans and the cases make noise. Dont recommend it. Montech that is. Spend 10-20 more to get a better product, like lian li, chieftec, even corsair. Im a system builder.

Not sure why you would claim on the last computer tower they the 2 120mm fans mounted directly above the power supply would be drawing in fresh cool air. Regardless of the PS orientation it’s not going to be cool let alone fresh air. Be hey maybe it was just a simple error when trying to show us as much as possible in the little time frame of the video. 🍻

Seasonic is not pretty awesome. They have no problem branding Chinese parts as Seasonic anymore. Stay away and due to the bad support, I wouldn't even touch the better high-end models. Kolink Enclave PSUs have been much better at lower price points. Or you can go with Fractal Ions, which are more expensive but very, very good.
