Sam Carter's tone, switching between techniques and melodic screams are out of this world in this new track! The rest of the band sounds amazing too! What production & arranging!!!

The song was written in response to internet haters who gave Sam lots of grief that they no longer kept to their early formula of 2010 metalcore, as said in he song he received actual threats. So they put as much of everything they have ever done in the song (including the steroetypical blegh) so to say "Are you Happy Now?" to these keyboard warriors. Think they have well and truly raised the middle finger BUT still produced an absolute banger to do it.

Within 20 seconds we have incredible pitch screams, guitar scrapes, tasty lows, beautiful metalcore chugs, a pop-core chant and an almost sarcastically over the top blegh. Absolutely exceptional work from the lads.

It would be awesome if you reacted and analyzed ONE OK ROCKs heavier song "Deeper Deeper" live at Yokohama stadium Mighty Long Fall tour. The way Take What you Want by showed you Taka's dynamic range, versatility, and emotion when he sings ballads, Deeper Deeper does the same thing but on the other side of the spectrum. Taka's harsh vocals are truly amazing. It's incredible how much he sounds like Chester Bennington in this performance.

@@chrisliepe I can't wait to see what you think. There are so many OOR songs worth checking out it's crazy. Taka raps in one. There are several performances where he sings perfectly while running, jumping, and headbanging. There's a song called Nobody's Home that everyone has to see because it's so personal to Taka almost broke down crying and stopped singing during the second chorus.

@@BaSiL_VS yes that's the one. It's the 2012 Niche Syndrome tour. The OST where you can see Taka with tears in his eyes and really screaming during the woah makes me tear up a bit. If you watch the concert video when they're walking off stage you can see Tomoya consoling Taka. I'm really hoping that they recorded the OOR vs My first story concert. Taka performed the song with his brothers and it's just as emotional.

It's not unbelievably heavy though. Sure some moments are deep and guttural but it's not unbelievably heavy. These bands are all turning into a BMTH clone, wanting some sort of main stream attention with their soft chorus like sections and the odd deep growl. I want songs from albums like 'Nightmares' 'In the library of Horrific events' and 'This is what the edge of your seat was made for'. This is just boring imo
