How Isaac came to be in a wheelchair is tragic. But he is not bitter, rude or angry. He has a plan for what he wants to do in the future. He wants to be a productive member of society. And I couldn’t imagine him not reaching a goal. He is so fortunate to be born into the family that is his. His parents have raised smart, polite and compassionate children. Well done to them . Raising children is the hardest job that you will ever do right. Clearly they have the blueprint on lockdown. They are all so deserving. And so greatful. This video makes my heart happy. I saw this one as well as many others. This young man was so blessed. His family as well. Life is definitely going to be a life 100% better than it would have, had George and his group not helped. I hope there are still businesses helping with the kinds of projects with George. George does so many heartwarming projects. From a bedroom with beds that brothers need. The because the brothers were TALL. Many, many others. It's hard to keep from crying.

Did you redo the bathroom? I would think it would also be hard for the young man to get in and out of the bathroom. The kitchen and the living room and the bedroom are gorgeous. Thank goodness they got him a better lift for coming and going. Great job George and crew. God bless.

George to the Rescue - Home Makeover For Injured Teen appeared in my list of suggestions. I'm glad it did. This is the best video I have seen on KZbin. It reminds me of Ty Pennington's TV shows. This family was deserving of a makeover like George and Team provided, proving many people in this world still have hearts full of compassion and care for our fellow human beings. The family appeared to be making the best of an unfortunate situation and Isaac himself was so positive--all of this before the makeover. When they saw the makeover we could see their joy and deep appreciation. Isaac is such a positive teen with a vision that he can be successful and be self reliant. He will be a great contribution to our country. Best to all of you. George and team, the Lima family, their neighbors, and all who made contributions to this project are an inspiration to all.

That's a kid with drive!!! (No pun intended!) It's great to see such generosity, with the way the world is often portrayed these days. 1 million %!!! I am not trying to knock what all these people did for this family; however, I will make a few points which, perhaps, could be considered by this program, in the future and/or by anyone planning to do a remodel for a residence that has someone in a wheelchair: I have to wonder why the microwave wasn't installed at the countertop level? Additionally, there are upper cabinets available which can be lowered electronically. Using this type of cabinet would have enabled Isaac to reach a lot more; remember he is still improving. All the lower units would have been better as drawers. Not only would it be beneficial to Isaac, but it would also allow the maximum use of the space with better access to everything for everyone.

Kind of unnerved by the sourpuss reaction of the older brother in the hoodie during the reveal. No emotion whatsoever, and he appears to have no joy for the needed accessibility that his opened up for his little bro. Smile, for God's sake, dude!

He spoke emotionally at the beginning when the family shared their feelings about what happened to his brother. When they opened the door to George, he had a big toothy smile. He spoke about George picking his family with gratitude. He was smiling when the family was walking up to the house and when they were about to go in the house. He was very interested in the kitchen and bedroom looking around. When the people outside were clapping he had a smile on his face. Not everyone is super outgoing when they have things like this happen. I felt he was very happy for his brother. Sad that you had to think negatively about him.
