Dam, now there's a business idea! Last year's floods ruined a local bridge and they had to fix it up by removing tons of rock out of a creek I work. I've never seen so much fine gold that was way deeper than I ever could have got. Excavators are awesome

Klesh, Don’t normally comment but I was at Crow Creek in 07 and we watched the locals clean up after running a small excavator dumping into a big high bank sluice. We didn’t see the fines as they were still working on cleaning it up but the nuggets they picked out were crazy! 10-15 of em the size of your thumbnail! We did some panning and ran a small dredge in another creek further down the peninsula while having a family picnic a few years back and just from dredging next to the creek we found a ton of small pickers and flour gold! Lots of gold still in AK! Great videos! Really enjoy going along with ya on your adventures! keep it up! - Matt in Texas
