As there are decent but relatively low cost monitors like this one, I think it would be very cool and interesting to see you guys buying, let's say, 10 exemplars of this model or of something of equivalent cost and value, and then performing the whole testing procedure on all of them: this way we could have an idea of the level of variability of performance in a lower cost monitor, in order to see what kind of lottery we're subscribing to when buying this kind of product. Hopefully the results will be very close for all monitors of the same model. But you never know, maybe there is the same kind difference in performance between two exemplars of a single model, as there is for two random exemplars of two different monitor models (of similar price). Thanks for your videos! p.s. I suggest this here both for the lower cost of the model you would have to buy multiple exemplars of, and for the fact that it's reasonable to expect more variability in low cost monitors then in top tier ones.

Hi, I’d been watching some of your monitor reviews and I like that you do a thorough job describing all the characteristics and you never forget about the minimum brightness, which is a very important aspect for me, because I prefer monitors to be rather dimmer because I watch video content in a darker room, whether it is a monitor or a TV. Now I have a specific question, I hope you can help me out with this one. If in the specs of an OLED it reads - “Quantum Dot Color- Yes” does it mean that it is a QD-OLED? My question is related to an European model -LS27DG602SUXEN (Samsung Odyssey G6). So “Quantum dot color -Yes” means QD-OLED for sure?

Hello Tim, Why no UFO test? I know there is no MBR option in the menu, but the test shows what we can expect in the end in comparison to other monitors. Or to see how well the blur is handeled even without a dedicated mbr functionality. I watch your videos primarily becaise of the UFO test : )

Here in Ukraine it cost more then Gigabyte M27Q, MSI MAG 274QRF-QD E2, Asus ROG Strix XG27ACS. No point to buy it. Same with Lenovo and LG models. They cost like ~20% more then Asus, MSI, Giga models with same specs.

Hoping you get to the new MSI MAG274QRF QD E2 soon. Appears to be an update to the MAG274QRF-QD that you liked in late 2020, with 180Hz. I just moved to China and bought one from the MSI official store on Taobao here for 1100CNY ($155). Seems excellent to this layperson. I have absolutely no idea how it's this cheap 🤷
@fluffyRabbit0117 күн бұрын
As another lay person, I think the reduction in price may be due to the shipping cost being much cheaper, as well as not having to pay extra taxes or custom fees etc.
