My husbands cancer has returned and wee found out last week. Two days after he just had a double hernia surgery. I am so scared. Please pray. We need everyones prayers!

Great find on the Longaberger bread basket! I actually use mine for serving bread. I found the Longaberger clay bread warmer at a flea market for $2.00. Now I can heat that up, put it in the bottom of the basket and keep my bread toasty warm!

I live in central Ohio where Longaberger baskets were made. I know $10 sounds like a lot but that would have sold for $40. They are so well made they last forever.

I have never, ever liked the signs. I have to agree with you, I think the trend is pretty much over - at least in my part of the country. Tons of signs in the thrift stores.

I have been suffering with a cold myself. My cough has been awlful . There's something going on all over the country. A bunch of our family members up north have had it. I even got a flu shot and still got it. Hope you get well soon.. Prayers for you.🙏🙏🙏🙏 Yes siree LB baskets are the best. I've gotten a couple myself on sale in thrift stores. Hello Julie. I am happy you are feeling better. I always pray for you and your family. My neighbor had a virus, coughing and body aches. She is resting to get it out of her system. Not Covid19. I only have a frame with the word "Fluff and Fold." above the door to my washer and dryer. I have a frame with the word "Happy Easter" with adorable Bunnies on it in the Dining room above the door. Was never a fan of the wordy signs sp i don't have any. You can tell that the fad is over for the most part by the amount of rae dunn items i see at theift stores and yard sales

Our prices are like 2-4 times higher at our GW IN TENNESSEE....THEY PULL MOST OF THE COLOR OF THE WEEK , TO MAKE ROOM FOR MORE EXPENSIVE INCOMING ITEMS...YOU CANT BUY ANYTHING UNDER $2.99😳😠Resellers have driven the prices up! They line up at the door as if they're getting concert tickets and then theres 2-3 of them scouring the shelves...its a piranha frenzy......very crazy and stressful...it used to relax me to thrift now Im taking my life in my hands. Theres actually been heated arguments ovwr who SAW what first! 😱🤯

I don’t like the “wordy signs either though have lots of primitive advertising signs, barnwood type gathering room type signs. I see lots of Rae Dunn in thrift shops too and have come to the conclusion that if it’s a trendy thing, it won’t last. Love baskets too and use for so many different things! That green box looks like it would be useful for teabags. So glad you’re starting to feel better🙏. Nice find on the basket🤎.

Hi Julie. Glad you’re feeling a bit better. I feel I’ve had the same thing. It’s lingering 😒. I agree with the wordy signs. I have a few but they speak to me with a phrase that says yep- that’s something I think or say all the time. Sorta like Rae Dunn. Who wants your dishes telling you what they are all the time!💕😂Supposedly that’s falling out of favor too. Another thrifter I watch made an interesting comment that she fears the vintage for her daughters generation is going to be wordy signs! Come on people- we can do better! I feel I’ve been watching you enough that I can almost predict what your gonna put in that buggy! Yep, she’s going to get that basket and hat box. Truth be told, I would too. Hey- when something can do double duty- storage and decor at half off- it’s a no brainer!

I am from Ohio don't live too far from where Longaberger baskets where made There headquarters was giant picnic basket. I remember one of your videos when they had a Longaberger picnic basket for about 30 some dollars they sold for over 100 to150 dollars

Wish our Goodwills were that cheap, did try a few other thrift stores, small frames started at 3.99 n up. Don't do too much Wording signs, I HV a few that say things about gathering, one farmhouse sign n yes I HV a farm, few Christmas ones, nothing major.

I sold Longaberger in the mid 90s. I've been to the factory and Dresden. You don't have to feel the baskets, you know on sight, the quality and usability of each basket. Change out the seasons with a decorative cloth or liner! Makes me sad to see them so cheap now.
