Just a quick update: my code was good for the first 2 weeks when I released this video - it is no longer active!

Thanks for the video- great info, perfect length and I appreciated the topics you touched on. One quick note, since you didn't mention it and I didn't see any other comments about it- in the video it's obvious that you kept going even when the light turned from green to orange. When the light is orange it means the steamer isn't at full temperature and for the best results Dupray says to pause for a few to let it come back up to temperature (when the light turns green again). Just in case that's helpful for you (or anyone reading) :-)

Thank you for sharing!! I was using my steamer and wondering if it was hot enough.

Totally agree! I just used mine for the first time on my floors and it did an incredible job! Love this machine!

Just got one delivered today and can't wait to use it. Re: hard or regular water: I watched the tutorial video for this steamer and it suggests that you soak it with vinegar and water overnight if you use regular water.

You are absolutely correct! Thank you for sharing that! :)

It performs well esp for the price but the non-ergonomic handle after steaming the floors caused pain in the wrist. They need to change it. Surprised after all these years they didn't change it.
@SlayAtHomeMother2 жыл бұрын
Have you tried using the button that keeps the steam going continuously? I thought it was a little tiring at first having to hold the trigger the whole time until I discovered that little button - life-changing! ;)

Thanks for the review. I have tile floors in my kitchen. I noticed all the water when cleaning the grout. How do I clean all the water up from grouting cleaning? Will I have to get on my hands and knees to wipe it up? Do you go behind the grout cleaning with the dupray steam floor mop to soak it up? What is the best way to handle this is your opinion/experience. Thanks!
@SlayAtHomeMother3 жыл бұрын
Great question! I do our tile's grout first, and then follow up with the floor mop - it does a great job cleaning! :) If you're in a rush, you can always wipe up the water with a microfiber cloth after cleaning the grout - I've done that once or twice before.

Does this work on luxury vinyl plank flooring?
@SlayAtHomeMother Жыл бұрын
Hi! Steam is generally considered unsafe for LVP flooring, although it's great for other types of floor, especially tile! :)

Got this and its great but one thing I noticed - didn't use all the water in the tank, so after it cooled off, I dumped the rest of the water from the tank and it was dirty - is that normal?
@SlayAtHomeMother3 жыл бұрын
Hi! So sorry to hear that. I haven't noticed that, but I also find a way to use the rest of the water and never have any left so I haven't experienced that scenario. The water shouldn't be dirty, however, so I would definitely contact customer service to see if they can help troubleshoot the issue - whether it be your water, or even possibly the machine! Great video! Do you recommend distilled water, I live in California water here is hard.
@SlayAtHomeMother3 жыл бұрын
Yes! You can certainly use tap water, but they recommend soaking overnight with vinegar and water after using regular water, so I just like to save myself the time and use distilled water!

You are correct! It was valid, but they recently revoked the offer. You can still shop this aff link to get it at its lowest price, though: bit.ly/3HPnz88 I always recommend getting it straight from the supplier’s website to ensure you get the warranty. :)

Hi! It's generally recommended not to use steam cleaners on laminate flooring, but you can use them on tile flooring :)

Does it make the sofa fabric wet? How will that dry up ? I wanted to buy this to actually clean up our fabric sofa ( some stains and spills ) in living lounge area
@SlayAtHomeMother3 жыл бұрын
Hi! The fabric on our sofa just air dries, we make sure to run the ceiling fan in the room after use. It doesn't take long, especially with the amount of water used in the steaming process. With a carpet cleaner, there's an extraction of the water from the fabric, but there's also a ton of water use, whereas a steam cleaner like this one doesn't pump a ton of water onto the fabric surface.
@SlayAtHomeMother3 жыл бұрын
I wanted to add, with staining, you may be better off with a carpet cleaner. A steam cleaner is great for sanitizing areas and may help loosen and lift stains, but I couldn't guarantee it would be BEST for the job. Hope this helps!
